While somewhat biased towards ESRI software, this book still managed to capture the essence of what real LAs are doing with GIS. What it lacks in technical detail, it more than makes up for with its very nice graphics and maps.

I ordered a book on 8-31-10 and contacted the seller when it kept showing 'not shipped'. It took the seller 5 days to get back to me only to say that they don't have the order. I would strongly discourage anyone from ordering from this 'operation.' I have ordered textbooks online for 4 years and this is the worst seller I have ever had to deal with.
Buyer Beware. If you get your merchandise .... your lucky.... I wonder if Ill get the refund? Probably not. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!!!
