I bought this candle for the few windows that don't have outlets near by for a chord. Opening the box I was quite pleased to discover the product weight and appearance. I was however, disappointed once I turned it on. The light is not the same color as most Christmas lights. When I tried to replace the bulb so that it would match the other lights I discovered the bulb was not standard. It is a specialty bulb. I am now trying to find out where I can find a replacement bulb. I like leaving the candles in the window lit day and night through the Christmas season. The batteries barely lasted. You'll want to use rechargeable batteries if you can.

Very lovely candle but bulb leaves a lot to be desired. Not realistic at all in either flicker or on mode.

Looks and works great but it does not have an auto on/off timer or light sensor.

MY WIFE WANTED CANDLES TO PUT IN WINDOWS OF THIS FARMHOUSE THAT WE JUST BOUGHT SO I WENT ON AMAZON AND LOOK AT THE REVIEWS. THE BATTERIES LAST ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND THEY ARE VERY WELL MADE.

I purchased the GKI/Bethlehem Battery Operated 12-inch Pewter Candle lights to place in my windows over the holidays and throughout the long Michigan winters. They require three AAA batteries which last between five and ten days depending on the amount of use (overnight vs a few hours in the evenings.)
They have a heavy stable base, the pewter finish is authentic looking and they look very nice in my windows. They have even survived our four year old grandchild carrying them around (allbeit carefully) during her play.
I am considering buying a few more to place in all my windows.

Theses candles are cheap-looking and lightweight. The base has a plastic look to it. I thought they would be more comparable to the electric ones I bought several years ago. I didn't take them out of the package until Thanksgiving Day- my mistake. I would have sent them back. Don't waste your money if you want something with a more quality appearance to it.
