Last year I bought this pricey pre-lit Christmas tree. Well this Christmas I took it out of the garage and set it up only to find that half of the tree lights were not lighting up. I started testing each individual light bulbs, which too hours, and no look. I never found the faulty light bulb. I was ready to take all the lights off and purchase new ones to put on the tree, until I found this on amazon. In matter of minutes it found my broken light bulb and saved my entire string of Christmas lights.

I thought that this device would test more than one light at a time. I have a prelit tree and it was quite time consuming, but it worked

Tester you put bulb into did not work, bulb and fuse tester worked fine. Thought this was end of light testing problems, NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thing is great! Makes it super easy to locate a bad bulb along a string of lights. The little metal piece that sticks out is for pulling out bulbs and makes yanking out a bulb super easy even on stubborn sockets. This has saved me a ton of time, super happy to have it!

The tester is very useful in all aspects of useage and helped me to test the string of tree lights I was repairing for a friend.Glad to say they are now repaired and sent back to the friend who is very happy.
