Customer Reviews

This is the only system anyone in my office uses now!

We originally got these for the office a few years back and when it was time for replacement our folks were very pleased to know these could still be purchased.

I like that you can take the cover off, in case you need to wash it for some reason.

I have been using this system for almost two years while at work. I couldn't manage my my mouse without my arm going numb when I was using any other system. The Gel in this pack molds to your wrist and can be adjusted for your support preference. This is the only system anyone in my office uses now!

I have only had my mousepad for a week now and it is much better than one that does not offer wrist support; however, I would prefer a wee bit more gel in it than it comes with . . . it seems to go pretty flat where your wrist rests which defeats the purpose. After checking it out I have reached the conclusion that it may be possible to add a little "stuffing" (I'm thinking about trying sand or barley) to the two compartments filled with the gel and giving more support to my wrist. As I said at the beginning though, it is better than no support at all.

The gel pad consists of two plastic gel packs enclosed in a soft cloth. They appear to be filled with the same kind of gel in the cold packs used for first aid. The gel pack is attached to the pad with velcro and can be removed to be placed in the refridgerator.

Upon opening the box I thought the gel pad attachment looked clumsy and I didn't think it would work as well as a nice contained gel pad. But, I love the mobility that this pad allows along with great comfort. You can also remove the gel pads and put them in the freezer and then use them if you have a sore wrist or tendonitis that may flare up. For the money, this pad is a great bargain and really comfortable.

I have used a genuine Case Logic Gel-eez mouse pad for several years. I wanted to obtain a second pad for my office, and this was the only source I could find.

The product I received has a "[...]" brand tag on it. The item is similar to the Case Logic, but not the same. The finish on the gel "pillow" is a little rougher (loose strings, one pocket not sewn shut completely) and either the pockets are wider or the gell pillows are smaller/less full, so the gel spreads out more and is flatter than the Case Logic pillow -- I prefer a little more support under the wrist.

A little use of needle and thread should be able to fix these issues, and I expect to be happy with the pad over the long term, but it is not the item I thought I ordered.

Being a programmer, I spend a lot of time on the computer, and supporting my wrist is important.

I have tried many mouse-pads, and was never satisfied with any others than the Gel-eez mouse pad. The padding for the wrist is very comfortable, it feels soft but yet gives your wrist strong support.

The problem with other mouse-pads is, that they have too little wrist support, and also that the pad where the mouse is on does not work well: With a laser mouse, you will sometimes encouter problems due to reflections of the surface the mouse it laying on. This was the case for a Belkin mouse-pad I tried. The Gel-eez mouse-pad works perfectly in that aspect.

I bought my first Gel-eez mouse-pad about six years ago, and only today I can say it has worn out. Considering the amount of time the mouse-pad has been in use, six years is quite a good milage.

It's great to find this product on Amazon. I ordered two, as I don't want to be without it in the future.

I was given this item as a gift several years ago from my brother, who spends even more time on the computer than I do. Unlike other reviewers, I actually appreciated when it went a bit "flat", as the support was too high for my wrist (I found it going a bit numb). Over time, it did go totally flat in the center, but I'd squish it around a bit, and that seemed to be OK. As other reviewers note, the gel packets (there are 2) are removable, so you can adjust the support (unfortunately I didn't notice that until later). I particularly like the mousepad surface, which is more fabric-like than those common slippery surfaces... I can't control my mouse on those. Eventually the gel packets in my pad crystalized and burst, which is why I'm now buying a new one.
