GLS PEDAL BOARD KIT RULES!,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: GLS Audio Pedal Board Kit DIY Patch Cables Cords - 15ft Cable with 12 Right Angled 1/4" TS Plugs - 15' Pedalboard Cord (Electronics)
I was in need of several high quality cables for my pedalboard to finish it off. It would have cost me about $130 more to buy these cables from my favorite online Music Store, and that is a very good deal (55% off)for the number of high quality cables that I needed. So I decided to shop around to see if I could make them myself and save some money, and I came across this pedalboard cable kit for about 1/4 the price or better!
I looked up the parts one by one and found them to be the exact same parts as were on all of my "Live Wire" cables. Well, at this price I grabbed them up as fast as I could, and I couldn't be happier! Great product guys! And the shipping delivery time was spot on, and the quality is very good, and I will buy more of these as soon as I need them, again and again. Thanks again! Regards, SKYNETRP

After realizing it would cost a great deal to purchase pre-made pedal couplers, I decided it would make sense to make them myself. I can solder, and the materials can be found everywhere, so that's what I decided. And then I discovered this kit. How convenient (and affordable)!
I like that the entire connector housing is metal. Plastic ones don't have that long-lasting feel to them. The cabling is nice and flexable, though I would have preferred to see at least 22 ga. wiring inside instead of 24. The cables are easy to cut and strip. The quality of the finished product is excellent and they appear to be fairly noise-free. Granted, I do have a noise suppressor in my chain. Assembly was painless. Due to the small wire gauge, the outer jacket is smaller than the hole in the connector. This is common, but I don't personally care for it. I remedied this by covering the jacket and some wiring with heat shrink tubing. Fits better that way. This is a quality pedal coupler kit that will save you money. For what you might pay for about ten pre-mades, you can have over twenty DIY cables. That savings can be used to, well, buy another kit!

I'm happy with this product, it is cheaper than buying individual patch cable. The 90 degree connectors are nice and solid. Requires soldering, which is a pretty easy do-it-yourself-job and only requires an inexpensive soldering iron and some solder.
The quality of the cable is a little less than I would have hoped for and a little smaller gauge (24 gauge?) in comparison to the fender patch cable I already have, which concerns me that the connection might break especially if the wire is moved frequently. Otherwise, it sounds good and looks nice on my board.
