Best mic on the market in the $100 or less price range.,

I've been using these for many years now. I've replaced my Shure mics with these because these sound better. They have been response. And how the heck can you beat the price? 3 for the price of 1 Shure. Love it!

GLS Audio ES-58 - Best Bang for your buck,

I immediately liked the overall workmanship of the GLS Audio ES-58. I tried it out on a live gig last week and was impressed with the performance. The sound was smooth, rich, and really cut through the mix without being overly shrilly. It's a real winner when useed on a mic stand. It is a hot mic useful in small/ tight venues where feedback can be a problem. It is noisy when handheld so beware.

I purchased 10 of these microphones for use in the hardcore concert venue i work at because i was tired of the bands throwing around Shure SM-58's and breaking a $100 microphone. At first, i purchased two of these mics to try them out in a church setting and in a hardcore venue setting. The sound of these microphones, although not just like an SM-58, is very good. With a little EQing (i cut some of the lows, around 300hz), you can get them to sound very similar to a 58.As far as the durability of the microphones, its only weakness is the grille. They are made of plastic and the threads tend to break when dropped. My solution (them being only a $30 microphone) is to glue the grille on. Seemed to solve my problem. I will continue buying these microphones.
