Family favorite,
This review is from: GMC A4DK 4 Tool Hobby Combo Kit with Rotary Tool, Cordless Screwdriver, Soldering Iron, and Engraver (Tools & Home Improvement)
Actually got this kit as a gift from my wife and thought it would be just another gadget to collect dust in the workshop, well how wrong I was since receiving it this kit has seen more work than my other tools put together. It has also given me lesss work to do as my wife loves the cordless screwdriver so much she is happy to do some of the jobs she has been asking me to do for a while. I have never had a rotary tool before and have looked at the Dremels for a while but I am happy I didnt buy one as the price of this kit is the same or cheaper than a Dremel on its own and I have 3 more tools to use. I have fallen in love with the rotary tool with the flexible shaft it has made it easier for me to control the unit for some of the smaller jobs, it is just like using a pen. We have used the engraver to engrave family bikes and some of our electrical items for security reasons. I think the people who designed this kit did a great job as it has everything in it so you can use it straight away, plenty of accessories for the rotary tool, bits for the screwdriver & engraver even solder for the soldering iron. It comes with a hanging rack that you can put all the tools in and hang on the wall but I like to keep mine in the kit box they came in. Good value and you will be surprised at how many times you will find uses for these tools around the house. Thumbs up 5 stars.

I've never owned a rotary tool before so maybe my opinion does not amount to much for a professional. However, I find the tool very useful in fixing little things and got the job done. I also like the feel of the grips.

I have never EVER gotten my dad a Father's Day gift that His Majesty deems worthy of actually appreciating. Never. Not even once.
Until this year. [gloating] In the past I have bought my dad cars, cruises, vacations, yada yada yada, blah blah blah. None of those gifts, hefty price tags or not, have elicited so much as a modicum of excitement from him. I had all but given up hope of ever doing a Father's Day right. And then it happened... Power tools. I saw this kit filled with electrical junk and, deciding I had nothing to lose, purchased it. Well, since me and my family will be out of town this Sunday (Father's Day) I gave him the power tools early. His eyes lit up. He inspected them. He drooled. He. Hugged. Me. I jumped up and down like a giddy teenager. I had done the impossible. I had pleased him! Wahoooo!!!! To the other daughters out there mystified by the shopping-for-daddy experience, all I can say is this product turned out to be a major winner for me. Get it or good luck!
