Oversensitive mic,

Easy to use and setup, but the mic is way too sensitive. If you tone the mic down, the sound gets really muffled. Overall, I was really disappointed with the product.

This was purchased for my father who has Multiple Sclerosis, and has trouble getting his voice loud enough for others he hear him on the phone. This has worked well for him, with the amplified voice.We connected it to a regular corded phone and lift the corded phones handset whenever he wants to make or answer a call. He speaks and listens through the headset. It was a little confusing to figure out how to setup at first though.

I purchased this to amplify my voice going outbound to my system architect's home office, and that part seems to work. However, there seems to be some background noise from this headset, though it might be from the fax unit (Brother MFC-665CW). However, I haven't "heard" a complaint from my system architect yet, so mission accomplished.
