I am an almost 26 year old woman, and I have had lots of problems with adult acne---especially on the upper lip - chin & cheeks!! These HUGE and even Medium sized pimples would take weeks and weeks to heal--just so another BIG one would pop up somewhere else!!! VERY FRUSTERATING! I knew it was hormonal because my skin would only clear at 'that' time of the month (For about a week or so--sometimes just a few days, and then it was like my skin started building up to the ultimate breakout for the week before my period--The endless ACNE cycle!)---No matter how many times a day I would wash my face TRYING to hold on to that 'pristine' skin --IT NEVER FAILED- THE ACNE CAME BACK AGAIN EVERY MONTH-I have used EVERY soap/cream/FACEWASH/cleanser imaginable!!! *When I was pregnant I had beautiful skin, so it furthermore confirmed my suspicion of 'hormonal' acne* So, one day out of desperation and looking like a pepperoni pizza, I started searcing for remedies online, I read other reviews on other sites about how 'GNC Saw Palmetto' product could help WOMEN with adult 'hormonal' acne. I was sceptical-but I had never tried pills before--so what was there to lose?...At that point, I didn't care if it said 'MENS' on it, even if I grew a 'u know what' --I thought it would be worth a try in order to not deal with the persistant EMBARASSING acne break outs.

NOW (3 weeks of usage) my RESULTS:
NO, I have not grown a man's you know what! My skin is SO much clearer! I use to have so much acne on my lips/chin/cheeks ---every now and then a little one 'pops' up-but heals much quicker-- I think if I weren't on this, these little ones would be those BIG red ones that used to pop up. As time goes on, I notice my skin is getting more 'immune' to acne...lol I haven't been taking it that long, but I religiously take it EVERYDAY now! At first I wasn't so consistant --WARNING: the pills do NOT smell good! (I noticed my skin would break out more if I skipped a dose) ---

my DOSE: I take one in the moarning/afternoon like 30 min. AFTER I EAT WITH lots of water and one in the evening like 30 min to an hour after a meal. ITS BAD ON AN EMPTY STOMACH

Side effects:
I didn't read any side effects from other people online, but I got VERY nauseous if I took 2 pills at the same time!! I actually threw up when I did that! DO NOT DO THAT---just take one 160mg pill at a time! lol It is definitly worth it!!! ---I also have problems with bladder infections, and this seems to really help!!! It just seems to really help with all you got goin' on down there, and the acne--nothing could be better for me!----------------------OH, AND MY PERIOD SEEMS LIGHTER AS WELL!!!-------I am going to save even more money by ordering the 'diva' cup, hope it works for me-will write review on that as well.

I really hope my review of these pills helps someone out there!

ALSO fyi, I first purchased a 60 count---
I just ordered a 240 count from GNC---
IF THAT ISN'T PROOF IT WORKS, I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE IS --
