Every translation should be this easy to read and understand in contemporary society.

I had this book long ago in catholic grade school. It's very easy to read and study. They took away a lot of the old english words and phrases and translated to be more understandable, in modern language. The meaning is still there. It still follows the same chapter and verse,in the bible. Just much easier and faster to read, and comprehend. I bought it again, as an adult, so I could study the new testament again.

I purchased the book, Good News for Modern Man, received and very happy with my purchase. The book was in excellent condition just as advertised. I would definately order again from this seller!

I love this book; no more thou / thine / willeth / blah blah blah. I can absorb the words of the Bible without having to wonder about syntactical puzzlement. This is written in plain ole' average Joseph language that you might hear in a coffee shop around the corner. Great for kids and students because it adds an element of relatability and modernity to a very important, very old story. ;D
