I bought this for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. I was trying to talk her into a three barrel iron instead, but she insisted on a crimper. I bought it thinking she would change her mind - and for what I payed for it, it wouldn't be a big deal. However, she loves it and has learned how to do it herself. She has long thick hair and by using smaller pieces of it she gets the look she wants. She's happy and it does work great!

It's so difficult to find a crimper that can get hot enough to crimp my thinck hair. This works great!

I bought this crimper after my Conair crimper had broken. I have had this crimper for about a year now and it has always worked on my hair, the only downfall is that it shorted out about 3 months ago and you have to jiggle the cord to get it to stay on. Other than that I loved it because I have thin hair and after I crimp it it makes my hair looks much more fuller.

The crimping iron is great; the price was right and the use of it is easy. daughter uses it all the time!

I was very surprised when my 11 year old granddaughter asked if I would buy her a hair crimper. I thought that hair styling piece had gone away with the 80s big hair. It arrived quickly and the next morning my granddaughter texted me a photo of her with her hair crimped. Seems to be easy to use and does the trick.

A friend of mine got this and recently used it to do a bunch of people's hair for a performance. It worked great for a wide variety of hair types.

Product is exactly what it looks like on the box in the photo. Variable heat temps include Low and High. There is no on/off switch on the cord. Doesn't get super hot, will need to use good products with iron. For $15 bucks though it's a good buy, you get what you pay for.

I need to leave it on for 5-7 min to get the optimize heat for my hair to curl. if it heats quicker, I will give a five star to this.

I bought this crimper a couple months ago and for the past 2 months I've been using it every 3-4 days on a very small amount of hair.

A few weeks ago, the spring that keeps the two plates separated broke, so the two arms just swing around and won't stay apart when you sit it down.

Now, the two plastic pieces that cover each plate are coming apart from each other. I noticed a screw in each side that is supposed to hold them together and I tried to tighten it, but that didn't help at all. I guess the plastic on one side where the screw goes in is broken or stripped out or something. This is actually a really big deal... I almost burnt myself using it last time because heat is coming up through the seam where the two pieces of plastic are separated.

If you plan on using your crimper for more than just a few events a year, buy another crimper.

This product is no better than any I could purchase at the local dollar stores in town. I have to hold the hair in the iron for a LONG time for it to even crimp the hair. It does not get very hot. Even when I first put it in my hands, I could tell it was cheaply made!
