poor quality,

I am disappointed that the quality is not as good as 4 years ago when hair bands used to be quite durable with good elasticity. Now I don't wear my hair tight but they break very easily after 8 hours of duration. I have been discarding one band a day.

I think of these as disposable. With my medium thickness shoulder blade length hair, I use them two to three times before they break, and when they do it's in my hand, not while I'm wearing them. They are wonderful to tie my hair at night when larger hair bands might be irritating. And because they are so tiny, they are no more wasteful that larger bands, which do break in time.
