I have had this for over 5 months now and it has been really amazing. It is so easy to use and the sound quality is really good. This just makes having a sony walkman all the better for me.

I can't believ it works this well.when I purchased this item I thought I would only use it to hold and charge my Microsoft Zune. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the FM transmitter works even in the city. The sound quality on the FM transmitter truthfully is not as good as plugging it directly into the head with a hard line to the radio, but it's good. Being able to just pull it out of the cigarette lighter and put it in another car with no wires is a blessing and lets me use my player more often. I can't live without my mp3 player. I hate the hassle of dealing with many cd's while I am driving. This product has answered my needs. Super easy to install and set up. Works perfect with my sony walkman mp3 player. You can also charge your mp3 player while using this device or charge your cell phone, navigation system or anything with a usb cable! One of the best and most useful products I have found on amazon to date.

The Advanced Car Mount System FM Transmitter & Charger for SONY Walkman MP3 player is truly a great product. You can choose any FM radio station you like and there is no static. You get the same quality sound that you do when just listening with headphones. It also comes with extra accessories. My Sony Walkman fits snugly into the car mount. I can listen to all of my MP3 music in pure bliss. I would highly recommend the Accessory Genie company and the Advanced Car Mount FM Transmitter both with 5 stars!!

Received 12/24/10 - Problem with order: 1) Item not as expected 2) Item doesn't match website description. I am extremely disappointed...I have ordered items from Amazon for years and never had a problem...until this item. Amazon should ban this supplier from selling on Amazon. The product IS NOT AS DESCRIBED. It is advertised that it will charge a SONY mp3 player (model 545). One of the marketing pictures shows the charging connector integrated into the unit. It has no connector for the SONY mp3. Here are the detailed problems:
1) The photos show the charging connector attached to the transmitter. The item I received had two cables a) a standard USB with universal plug and b) a USB with ZUNE male connector. Neither fit the Sony. The package even has a sticker on it stating for Zune.
2) The shaft that is designed to fit into the cigarette lighter is too short to connect to the power point resulting in intermittent power. 3) The transmitter is too top-heavy to stay in an upright position.

I wasn't able to get the device to power-up and stabilize in my car parked while in the driveway. There is absolutely no way this device would work when the car is in motion.

I requested a pre-paid return authorization with full refund of the purchase price AND the shipping charges. So far I have had 3 emails from supplier trying to convince me that the problem is not with the unit but with my ability to get it connected.

Per Supplier: I do apologize for any inconvenience that has been caused. It appears there was a slight ad glitch which I have submitted to our marketing department to correct. The GoGroove FlexTune is designed to be compatible with a wide variety of music players and is not specific to one type of player. The manufacturer had included a few of the charging cables they felt were used most. I have forwarded your comments to the manufacturer so that a Sony charging cable can be included in future purchases.

This is a very good looking product . It has a nice finishing .
But since the ad says that this product is compliant for Sony
mp3 . There is no charging cable for Sony inside the package .
(There are two different charging cables for other brands of mp3's .inside
the package .)
The big problem is the sound quality .....
The FM sender is very poor . It does not lock the frequency also there is a
distortion sound behind the music all the time .
I do not recommend this product to anyone .

This product exceeded my expectations. I have a 2006 Chevy Blazer and there is no MP3 input. After doing some serious searching I found this product. It is very easy to use and the sound is very, very good. I especially like the fact that the player is held snugly in place and that it also twists to allow either the driver or the passenger to view what is playing or to change the music. I highly recommend this product and Accessory Genie. Shipping was fast and everything was as it was supposed to be. Great company, and I highly recommend them.

First, I bought this based on the supplier previously stating in another review that the USB cable for a Sony Walkman would be supplied. Contrary to that blog, the supplier now states in an email to me that they do NOT send the Sony WMPORT USB interface cable that is required, so the charging function wont work unless you use the one that came with your Walkman. Second, the transmitted audio output is very low (yes, I have the Sony on its full headphone volume, with its optional speakers turned off) so when switching the FM radio between stations, the regularly broadcast stations will suddenly blast you out of your car till you re-adjust the radio's volume to compensate. Third, there is background static whether car engine is on or off, as another user stated, so the music quality is not good. And fourth, the cigarette lighter plug is too small, so it wont stay in the socket. Thus, the mount just flops around and eventually falls out onto the car's floor. Manufacturer says they will send me a rubber washer to (allegedly) fix this. For comparison, my GPS, radar detector and cell phone chargers work fine in the socket. Don't waste your money on this under-engineered product that is not designed to be compatible with a Sony Walkman.

The sound it makes through stock speakers is amazing. I have the Sony NWZ-S545. But I believe this FM Transmitter is a superior product that will make you rediscover your music. Crystal highs and beautiful lows, this is will make any MP3 player's music more clear and pure. Once again, this is a superior product !

Not sure why... but twice I have ordered and twice not worked with my sony nwz S545. I have a Toyo Tundra JBL radio. It just refuses to get a full signal, with a barely audible sound in the background. Anyone else have these problems with this??
