Let's start by admitting that I'm not an audiophile, and I bought this to replace a crappy wireless set of speakers whose sound faded in and out depending on whether I was using the stove or not, so my audio demands aren't that high. But I love these speakers! They're small, clean, and unobtrusive. The sound gets quite loud (yay!) and the quality stays good. They don't light up, or dance, or flash, or do anything stupid or ugly.

The only drawback, I think, is that the whole thing is ONLY controlled by the remote control. You can't turn the unit on or off without it, and you can't change the volume by using the iPod. And the remote is about the size of half a credit card (read: almost smaller than some vitamins I take) so it would be very easy to lose or, you know, swallow. I'm considering a string or velcro contraption to make sure I don't lose it.

But otherwise, I'm all for it!

These speakers provide very nice sound for such a small system. The range of bass and treble is good. The remote is also helpful in changing songs and adjusting volume

It also serves as a charging station.

I have been looking for speakers for my iPod for several months. I thought these were VERY reasonably priced and decided to give them a try. I am so pleased! The sound is great. I love that I can charge my iPod (and my son's and my daughter's) on it, and finally I have a "mini stereo" in my kitchen....or anywhere I want to put it.

If I could rate this item a ten out of ten I would...it is the best and I do mean the best...I was totally surprised by the sound quality...it is a perfect match for my iPhone...It sets near my desk at work and the remote is so simple to use. Simply put, you do not find accessories, this inexpensive with this much quality...one of a kind find!

This system gives decent sound for its size, but is not well-suited for an iPhone.

Once the ipHone is seated on the docking station, the recess makes it quite difficult to press the "home" button to switch between iPhone applications. I bought it mainly to use as a source for streaming music from NPR stations and with Pandora, and so this made it quite difficult to use. I suspect that the same problem may well exist for other similar systems with a built-in docking station.

I've returned this system and will replace it with a simple set of powered speakers.

This worked for a couple months then something went wrong with the remote. I didnt keep the box or anything so I cant do the warranty, but for the price I paid (cheap) it was worth the use we got out of it. I wouldnt spend very much on this product though, and if you do then send in the warranty card

I ordered this product and it shipped to me via ultra fast FedEx, yet I did not pay for upgraded shipping. So in this regard, the company selling these speakers does a wonderful job. On the other hand, I'm calling them to return these speakers immediately.

I will preface this negative review with the thought that my unit may very well be defective. Too many things just seem wrong with it for me to be giving it such a negative review while others are praising it.

Let's begin. The sound is an absolute joke. I have headphones that produce more sound if I just sat them on the table. I read through the manual, followed the directions and nothing really changed. On a scale of 1-10, I think the sound is peaking out at a level 2 or 3. The speakers seem to have much more potential, but I can't seem to get them to produce more sound. I tried several different audio files and even gave some streaming online music a shot via one of my iPhone apps connected through WiFi. No major differences between any of them.

My next issue is the remote, which is either defective or made with inferior product quality assurance standards.

Most of the buttons do not respond in a timely manner, if at all. Frequently you will have to remove the battery and reinsert it, as if the battery is not making a consistent connection. Maybe the internal componets in the speakers are not making a solid connection either, which would explain the low volume of the speakers.

As for it's design in relation to the iPhone. Pressing the home button is very, very difficult.

IMHO, if you have $70 for speakers, then you have $140 for better ones. Don't kind yourselves like I did. I'm ordering one of Altec Lansing speakers right now.....

Wow, was I impressed with this product. I wasn't expecting much in this price range, but this is something I'd definitely recommend to my friends.

The description of this item states that it works with ALL Apple products, but I could NOT get our iTouch to connect in the dock (yes, using the correct cover over the connection). My Nano did connect, so I was able to hear the sound quality of the speakers - I'd say it is OK for the size and price tag. Since I purchased this sound system specifically to channel Pandora Radio via our iTouch, I sent it back AND I should add, after emailing the company twice regarding my dissatisfaction with the way the product is advertised as working with ALL Apple products, they gave me a full refund, including my S&H costs. So an A+ to their customer service department at the very least.

I purchased this system for my daughter, and we both love it. Sound is loud and clear, works perfectly. I'd highly recommend this!
