I bought the larger version (4.5") for my Nuvi 760, and have used it for over a year for business travel - it goes through security in my carry-on so the Nuvi can get installed in rental cars; holds the Nuvi when it's not installed, or when the unit is being passed from one vehicle to another. Holds up very well; rigid and fits the unit perfectly - space for additional SD cards and a cable/screen wipe, etc. Just ordered this one (3.5") for a 265T I ordered to replace the 760 on business trips (smaller footprint). Note that you can't squeeze the mount (suction cup/vent clip/etc) or the power cable into the case - so you'll need a case for these "accessories" if you're traveling by car.

I haven't had this case very long to know how long it will last but it does appear to be very well made. The case is stiff enough to offer good protection. The GPS fits nice and snug but not tight. The inside pocket holds two extra memory cards and the net pocket can hold some emergency cash or whatever. All in all a very nice case at a good price.

As a protective bag for the GPS it's adequate, sturdy and small enough to tuck away almost anywhere. As a travel pouch for the GPS and the attendant accessories it's lacking in space. So if you need it for just around town it's great. To travel any distance with you'll want a larger bag. For the money a good value.

Good little case for the GPS. It's small enough to pop in my purse during my travels. It's light so it doesn't add to the weight of the unit. Would recommend. Happy travelings.

This little carrying case is protectively rigid, very lightweight and is the perfect size for my Nuvi 255. It would have been nice if it had a bit of elastic to hold the Nuvi in.

WHEN I FIRST LOOKED AT THE CASE I THOUGHT IT WAS BIGGER AND WOULD HOLD MORE THAN JUST THE GPS, BUT IT WILL ONLY HOLD THE GPS AND TWO MEMORY CARDS. IT IS A STURDY CASE AND WOULD PROTECT THE GPS IF IT WAS DROPPED, BUT WILL NOT HOLD ANYMORE THAN WHAT I STATED ABOVE, IT ALSO TOOK QUITE A WHILE TO GET IT, OTHER THAN THAT ITS OKAY THATS WHY THE THREE STARS

Be careful... I didn't realize there was a difference between a 205 and 205w. This is definitely not for a 205w. Other than that it looks like it would be a good case.

Got this for my husband for Christmas for use in his long-haul driving. He calls it Matilda. Sometimes it doesn't recognize the name of a town, but does most of the time. He has had to redirect it a few times in order to get the closest route. All-in-all - he LOVES Matilda!

It does what you expect it to do, small, compact, easy to travel with, in a jacket pocket or in the wife's purse.

Exactly what I was looking for to protect my GPS when on rides with my new bike! Compact and Strong....all I could ask for.
