This case is absolutely perfect for protecting the Magellan 1412 when not in use. It exceeds my expectations. It will fit into a purse, brief case, or (roomy) trouser pocket. The cover is slightly domed so as to not contact the touch screen. This is not a soft bag, but a sophisticated plastic case, with a nylon over cover. If you want to store or transport the power cord and windshield mount with the GPS, this is too small. It is made for the GPS only.

The first case they sent me was not long enough to accept the Magellian 1470. They (the company)immediately took ownership of the problem and sent me another longer case. I had given up on tring to get reconcilled with the supplier as it was such a small item (<$10), but they were great! I would buy from them again.

Glad to receive my purchase and very disappointed that it was the wrong size . too much bother to return or complain to anyone .

My husband travels for his job and he carrys his Magellan with him at all times. This case helps protect the Megellan's face so it doesn't get cracked.

This case fits our Magellan 1412 like a glove. It offers wonderful protection with a firm nylon-encased casing that is designed to keep pressure off of the touch screen (thus preserving it and keeping you from having to continually recalibrate it as well!)

It's just the right size for the GPS, so it hardly adds any extra bulk while offering superb protection. While it won't fit the charger or any other accessories, they don't really need protection do they?

All in all, a perfectly-designed case for me. When we finally upgrade our GPS I will be looking for a similar case from the same company to protect it as well!

It didn't work. The magellan didn't fit into the case that was supposed to be made for it!

This case is ideal except unfortunally it does not fit my Magellan road Map 1475T model. Be sure to check the size before purchase. Delivery was exremely long as well.

A good deal for the price and now I see that they are down to $99.00. It takes a while to get to know how to use it but ok after that.-- Make sure to buy the one that has "TEXT PLUS VOICE " which gives you the when to turn plus the name of the street. --- this one only says when to turn. Also make sure to get the free plus $10.00 shipping updated map on sd card. the one that comes with it is a 3rd quarter of 2007 vintage. --- The Car attachment is very good and versital. easy on and off.
