I am a novice boater and I recently joined USPS and completed several courses including Seamanship, Piloting and am currently enrolled in Advanced Piloting which includes a section on GPS. This book certainly helped me with this course. I highly recommend it

This review is from: GPS for Mariners (Paperback)
Not as detailed as I hoped - thought it would be more beneficial in learning more about my GPS -- very good for the basics but spent too much explaing how it works and not enough of how you can use it daily -- Still good to own
