Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

Fulfill your favorite diva desires with the affordable GPX C1625 5-watt karaoke party machine. Equipped with built-in CD+Graphics circuitry and a 5-inch black-and-white monitor, the device lets you sing along to your favorite songs as the lyrics go bouncing by without shelling out hundreds of dollars. Should the 5-inch screen prove insufficient, you can connect the device to a larger TV through the RCA outputs, letting you watch the lyrics and graphics in full color. Singers will also delight in the automatic voice control, which reflexively picks a good volume setting to match the music. And listeners can give their tunes a little extra oomph by activating the DBBS bass boost function.

The C1625 isn't limited to karaoke, however, as the CD player handles traditional audio CDs and home-recorded CD-R discs as well, and offers 19-track programming for creating a custom soundtrack. Additional features include a built-in speaker, a two-digit LED display, and a small microphone. And to get the party started, GPX even included a free karaoke sampler.

So quit singing the blues alone and organize your own karaoke fiesta with the C1625. As with all GPX products, the device is backed by a 90-day warranty on parts and labor.

What's in the Box
C1625 karaoke machine, microphone, karaoke sampler, user's manual.

1.0 out of 5 stars A boom box, not a karaoke machine, December 2, 2005

Ari's Mom (United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: GPX C1625 CD+G Karaoke Party Machine (Electronics)
I'm not sure what I expected after I purchased this for fifty some-odd dollars and was handed a coupon for a $40 rebate. But I wish that someone had informed me before I lugged it all the way home that when you sing into the mic, your voice doesn't come through the speaker. I'm cool with the machine's sound quality when it comes to playing a CD-G. If I tap the mic, I can hear an extremely faint thud, so I know it's on, but the volume's too low--and, yes, I adjusted the mic controls--if you want to sing along. Which makes this a dinosaur: a boom box in the age of the iPod.

Really had to dig through the stacks of machines to find a box that hadn't been opened. So, when was my first clue? Doh!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great For Parties and Fun!, December 2, 2006

This review is from: GPX C1625 CD+G Karaoke Party Machine (Electronics)
The other person who posted a review didn't know what they were talking about. Maybe they didn't read their manual. There is a control on the outside that turns the microphone up and down... sounds like he/she had it all the way down. Anyhow, I've had mine for about a year and it works great!! I actually came on here to look for one for my nephew for Christmas because he loves it so much when he visits!! Granted, it's not the best out there.. but for the price.. it's a great buy!!!
