This cassette player is a dream come true for a music lover who wants to quench his thirst for good music but has a limited budget. Even at such a low price the product does not lack in features. It boasts of several good facilities like anti roll mechanism and auto reverse, which gets rid of the hassle to rewind the cassette everytime after listening and also produces a good quality music.The extra big volume controller in front gives a novel and comfortable grip, also facilitating fine volume adjustments.What more it also comes with a headphone with a very decent sound quality. The inbuilt radio has a strong reception and the sound quality of FM is adorable.The headphone wire which doubles up as an antenna is the reason for this exceptional reception quality. In short I would recommend this product to every music lover with a taste for original music.

I bought one of these for each of my two kids and I'm completely satisfied. I have not seen another am/fm cassette player with these features for anywhere near this price. The sound quality is a lot better than I expected for the money, even with the headphones that come with it.

On a hope I purchased 3 of these little wonders just after christmas. One has gone by way of an irresponsible child, but the other 2 are fine. There are pro's and con's to them though. First, I must say that for the price, it's a bargain. I recommend that additional accessories are purchased for this product. New quality headphones, I use the fold-up model that radio Shack sells. A carrying pouch, the belt clip is bound to fail. What I like best about this unit is fidelity and output power. These units deliver a vibrant full range sound that rivals others many times the cost. These actually drive the headphones louder with less distortion than all but a very few personal, two cell powered units that I have heard. By utilizing the headphone wire as an antenna, radio reception is very commendable. I do regret that lack of stereo from the FM tuner but the fidelity and output power compensates for it well.

It it a terrible product. After the first run, the headphones shorted out. I can only get reception on one of the two earphones. The tuning is poor.

If you need a device for one or two uses (a temporary radio/tape receiver) it is probably fine -- and the price is definately right. If you want something that lasts longer, go to another product/brand.

The Amazon.com review covers this item pretty well. Volume dial, good. Quality/Features, not so good. Some listeners might want to move the autoreverse feature to the "cons" section of the review, because the sound level seems to drop when you reverse (unless you do it manually, of course). But this portable stereo and its "digital" headphones are wonderful for audiobooks, and if you're used to thirsty CD or minidisc portables, you may be amazed to see how long batteries last.

For as little as this costs, it works great. No complaints. Good bargain -- nothing fancy, no frills.... it plays music and seems durable.

This stereo has great sound. I take it to the gym. The only problem with it is when I move around, the headphones go in and out. When it stays put, the sound works very well.

I like the large volume button in front.

It gets a little confusing knowing which direction the tape is going when I want to rewind or fast forward.

This was one of my first Amazon purchases. It is very useful. I have used it in circumstances where there was no power to listen to news and weather on the am/fm radio, as well as cassette tapes. I have loaned it out to others so that they can use it for study or quiet listening in the hospital or in the night while ill, etc.
The sound quality is pretty good, since it is headphone use only. It doesn't come with an electric adapter is my only regret since batteries have to be on hand. However it lasts quite awhile before having to change batteries.Reasonably priced.

I have the model without auto reverse- C3125- and the tape speed is too slow, a common problem with portables. Aiwa is best for normal tape speeds.

This thing is pretty good for its price, and that's good for me because I don't want to pay $... for a walkman. It worked until I dropped it the third time on the pavemant, and the radio worked for sometime there after. I'm going to buy another one beacuse it's .... :)
