This review is from: GPX C3980RS Rugged Sports Personal CD Player with 45-Second Anti-Skip Protection (Electronics)
Perhaps the best looking and worst sounding personal CD player out in the market. The volume and clarity of sound is just not there. I wonder why the company wants to ... such a wonderful looking product. I am a great fan of aesthetics so I bought this ( although I am a firm beliver of sound from Aiwa and sony systems)and I decide to take a chance on the quality of sound asuuming how bad it can be? But guess what! I have the worst sounding CD player. So Don't judge by outside,,,,,Inside matters and this one ... inside

1.0 out of 5 stars SPORTS player?, July 24, 2001

Hmmm.....I'm thinking the name "rugged sports player" was a misnomer....I'm sure this player would be more than adequate for someone who's bedridden, but try to jog with it and you'll soon find out it's NOT very activity acclimated AT ALL......

1.0 out of 5 stars They should pay you to buy this thing!!!, July 4, 2001

I bought one of these doorstops and the only feeling I got was that I wasted $50. It has 45 second ESP but it skips after 10 seconds. unless you move the batteries around enough the motor won't turn. You cant turn it off until its done finding (or more often not finding) the disc. This thing dosent even make a good door stop. I give this thing zero stars, but they don't have an option for that.

The product did not work. It would stop and start anytime you moved the CD player. It was not build for sports at all. Piece of junk!
