The GPX purple CT CD AM/FM stereo cassette recorder features a top- loading CD player, stereo cassette recorder, AM/FM radio, and two 5-inch stereo speakers.

The CD player offers repeat, skip, search, pause, and 16-track programming functionality. Its LED display lets you select from these CD features. The cassette system records from either CDs or radio. The AM/FM stereo radio has analog controls for tuning and volume and an external antenna for reception.

This unit comes with UL-approved line cord and can run on eight C-sized batteries. The GPX C991CT CT CD AM/FM stereo cassette recorder has a limited 90- day warranty.

Be careful when considering this product by GPX! It's true it is a good looking, compact stereo and the price is affordable. However the performance leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered two as gifts for my daughters and neither of the CD players worked very well from the beginning (the machines had to be tipped at a 45 degree angle to operate the CD players.) One of them has a malfunctioning tape player, the door fell off, and after only 2 months, neither works with batteries.

This is a great Designed and small stereo the CD player workes well and doesn't skip very easily. The AM/FM radio is easlily tuned and great sound comes through, the casette recorder workes well too I realy think it's a great buy for it's price.

I just returned mine. It was compact and worked well, however, I thought the sound quality was poor.
