The HMD6014DT is compatible with DVD, CD, Video CD, CD-R/RW, WMA, and MP3 formats, and also plays digital JPEG photos and Kodak picture CDs. DVD resolution is sharp thanks to the progressive scan feature, which scans each frame individually rather than interlacing them, as is common among older DVD players. Radio fans will also appreciate the digital AM/FM tuner, which scans among its 60 station presets to change channels quickly and tune precisely. In addition, the system includes a digital zoom feature that gives viewers extra-precise close-ups. And as with any good DVD player, the device is compatible with Dolby Digital and DTS formats when connected to a 5.1-channel receiver. As a CD player, the HMD6014DT offers 99-track programming for CDs and MP3s, random and repeat play functions, and song skip/search. To navigate through the various functions and determine what's playing at a given moment, merely use the blue backlit LCD screen with onscreen display.
The system interacts with other components using its video, audio, digital, and S-video output jacks. Additional features include an NTSC/PAL system converter, parental control, a stereo headphone jack, and a full-featured remote control.

This review is from: GPX HMD6014DT 2.1-Channel 140-Watt Audio System with DVD/CD Player, AM/FM Tuner, and Subwoofer (Electronics)
This turned out to be great for what it is. It was the guest bedroom stereo and DVD player, and now its in the exercise room. This is a whir when it plays a CD, but I can live with that as its not my main stereo. I hooked this up to a high end TV until I get a better sound system and DVD player, and the picture was great. This is fine for what it is, and I would highly recommend it as long as its not your main equipment.
