This is one rugged flashlight made by the well reputed GPX company. It is water-resistent, has a powerful beam, an am/fm radio to keep you in touch with the outside world (important during power outages), and cleverly, the handy carrying strap is also the antenna!

We use ours ( 3 of them ) for stormy weather, camping, lake adventures and the youngest teen still loves to read by flash-light under his comforter. A great gift of fun and practicality for everyone in your family---all at a great price.

I got this, thinking it would be a handy thing to have for my sister, who lives in a hurricane prone area. It never, ever worked. You get what you pay for, and this was junk.
