5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT after 6 months of use and teeth!
Great Product! These are a TON safer than any other teething keys out there. I have purchased these along with the soother and stacking cups. I am very impressed with the product! My child is only 4 months old and teething and this is so far his favorite thing to chew on. UPDATE-- Child is 10 months old and still chews on these and they have held up even with 8 teeth...

2.0 out of 5 stars Green Sprouts Teether - the material comes off easily as our son bites the teether
I would not recommend this product because as our 6 month old son chews on this teether (the whole point of the product), pieces of the material come off. I respect the intention of this company and product in trying to be green so please improve this part as this is the most important.

4.0 out of 5 stars Much better than those old plastic keys!, December 29, 2009

This review is from: green sprouts Teether Keys (Baby Product)
We replaced some other plastic keys with these because we weren't sure that the ones we had were safe. To our surprise, our 6 month old baby much preferred these. The other ones were all one hard material while these have a softer chewier part at the tips of the keys that our baby loves to chew on. Not sure that they really ease his teething pain, but they are now one of his favorite toys.

2.0 out of 5 stars 2 Stars for Good Intentions but Made in China, August 23, 2011
This review is from: green sprouts Teether Keys (Baby Product)
This was a gift. I applaud Green Sprouts for their good intentions, but it only took me 5 seconds to see the keys were Made in China. Seriously? I cannot fathom how parents ignore the fact this is basically a food item. This is going into your child's mouth. I simply won't take the chance on potentially, shoddy Standards & Practices of another country. Any 'bad chemical(s)' that may have been unintentionally/intentionally introduced into the product, --will-- leach out over time, into your child's body.

iPlay is Green Sprouts parent company.

Hey iPlay, I will willingly pay the $3.33 extra to buy BPA/Phthalate/Nitrosamine free Teether Keys made in the US (where ASTM Standards and Methods/OSHA are complied with and verified by law).

I gave this as a gift and the 3 month old hasn't used it much yet, but I was unhappy to see it was made in China, another teether i bought from them was made in Germany so I assumed :(

4.0 out of 5 stars Still Plastic, But BPA-Free, February 24, 2011

Preferably, all babies would love American-made organic wood, organic cloth, a cold carrot, or Dr. Sears' old chicken leg bone for teething chewing. And although my baby will chew a carrot for a bit, and a chicken leg bone, these keys give her a lot of happy release. When her pain is really bad, she not only chews them but also shakes them wildly; she loves their gentle clackity-clack sound. I have tried her with about eight different types of chewers, and many different chewers of the same type. These particular keys tie for second place (along with the chicken leg bone) among her favorites. Her top favorite is the BPA-free "Bug-a-Loop" made by Nuby (I got it at a CVS pharmacy). I wish the plastics were as safe as organic materials, and I wish the organic materials were as soothing to her as the plastics. At least these keys are BPA-free.

5.0 out of 5 stars good alternative to other plastic keys, March 8, 2011
This review is from: green sprouts Teether Keys (Baby Product)
I love the green sprouts products and the fact that they produce safer products. The set of 'keys' is a nice size toy and my daughter started to hold and chew on them at around 5 months. The material is light weight so she can hold and lift it easily and they 'keys' are thin. The ends (away from the ring) have a softer plastic coating good for chewing. It provides a bit of comfort but is still hard enough to help w/ teething pain. The teether/toy is put together well. I have no concerns about safety b/c the shapes are wide. The toy is also bpa free and not too expensive compared to items w/ questionable plastic/paints.

The other day my baby was playing with another 6.5 month old boy - that boy had this teether and my son took it and played/ate it for awhile. I decided it was worth getting him his own. We've had it for a week and he LOVES this teether. If you have a teething baby, buy this and your baby will be happy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Baby's favorite, July 25, 2010
This review is from: green sprouts Teether Keys (Baby Product)
Much to our surprise, this is our 5 month old son's favorite toy so far, and has been since about 3.5 months. It's perfect because he can grab and carry it, chew on it, and shake it to make a gentle noise. And I love that it's non toxic. Great buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars great., December 30, 2009
This review is from: green sprouts Teether Keys (Baby Product)
My daughter doesn't seem too interested in these. She is interested in playing with cups and boxes instead. I gave them 5 stars though because of the safety. They are safe and won't affect babies health. I feel perfectly fine allowing my daughter to gnaw on these and bang them on the table. I have given 2 away as gifts also.
