Product Description

50%/50% wool/other blended natural fibers. Dry clean only. Very warm and comfortable blanket. Low heat release. Grey blanket with red stitching around outer border. Can be used for both indoor and outdoor use. Wool has low rate of flame spread, low heat release, and low heat of combustion. Wool is static resistant as the retention of moisture within the fabric prevents a build up of static electricity. Wool garments are much less likely to spark or cling to the body. Grey 55% wool rescue blanket. Dimensions 60" x 80" (inches).

These are great blankets for my disaster kit. They are big and thick enough for our wet/rainy Seattle winters. There is one little problem though. They are advertised as "Made in the USA", however, right there on the label, they are made in India. This isn't a big deal for me, but for some of you out there it might be. I think the product description should be an accurate representation of the product. Imagine that. I'd still buy them though.

The tag says "ROTHCO 60x80 55% wool / 45% synthetic Fire Retardant Made in India Dry Clean Only". Its a fine, blanket and will probably serve me well. But its not US made and not 50/50 wool/synthetic.

For my emergency car supplies, I bought a few of these. Heavy. Warm. Dark color doesn't show the dirt. A good value. At 80" long, covers the toes of all but the tallest of people. If it's like other wool blankets, avoid washing it - they shrink quite a bit. I should get a few more for the house.....
