Griffin & Sylvester, June 7, 2002
This review is from: GRIFFIN & SYLVESTER (Audio CD)
As a bread fan, i naturally love this album with many songs with breads distinctive sound, i will give you highlights of the album;
-Did you hear the news today is quite a long CLASSIC track
-Please come into my life could just be a bread song with sylvester on vocals
-Rozanne is of a different style, similar to U2's (Who I Like)
and some great solo guitar work
-The light that shone has a religious flavour
-Till midnight sounds like something off breads' first album (Bread)
I recommend this album to a bread or hollies fan or just someone who likes soft rock

I Was So Impressed, February 7, 2005
This review is from: GRIFFIN & SYLVESTER (Audio CD)
Anyone who likes the popular works will of Bread or the Hollies will not be disappointed with this album. The styles of these two writers/performers are showcased. Griffin's songs are simply his best ever. I don't know enough about Sylvester's repertoire to make a similar judgement but I enjoyed the songs he sung, too. And on a few songs the harmonizing of the two was simply unbeatable.

Jimmy Griffin, You are really missed, March 15, 2006
This review is from: GRIFFIN & SYLVESTER (Audio CD)
I recently purchased several items that had the wonderful music of James Griffin. He had a God-given talent. He had a beautiful voice and great songwriting style. The CDS he recorded with the Remmingtons were just fantastic. This particular CD he did with Terry Sylvester is just remarkable. I heard The Hollies influence very clearly and I must say, this compillation left me breathless. Of all the members of Bread, Jimmy was my favorite. I am very proud that I own this CD and wish there were more by these two artists because together they made a wonderful team.
