This was given to my husband so I don't use it but he reports that it was easy enough to install (he did it chrismas morning in about 10 minutes and 2 tools). I haven't heard any complaints about sound quality and it's got to be better than the bluetooth thing where we always lost reception.

Update:
I have since used this myself and it is really cool! All you need to do is plug in your Iphone and it automatically connects to the music on the phone. In a time elapse of maybe 14 seconds my husband unplugged his & I plugged mine in and the only thing I had to do was turn the radio off while plugging my phone in. The sound comes in very clear, as if i was listening to a cd instead. It is so much better than the old bluetooth thing we had and soooooooooo much easier to use. Highly recommend!

i reccomened getting this if you want to hook your ipod to the stock radio in your car. it works great. my only complaint is that i sometimes hear alot of static like noises on the stearo when im using it. i think the wire might be bad? its tolerable so besides that it sounds great, much better then using a ciggerette lighter fm transmitter plug.

OOh and the best part is that its like 1/3 of the price the dealer ship asks for a similar product
