When I arrived in Pattaya for my holiday in early 2009 I had no idea where to go and what was what. My hotel just happened to supply the Groovy Map of Pattaya for 200 baht. At first I thought "no way am I paying for a map", I thought I'd just go find a tourist kiosk or something and get one for free. After not having much luck finding a decent map I decided to stop being a "Cheap Charlie" as they call them in Pattaya and just bought the Groovy map.
Man, I am so glad I did. This map is not just a map but a great guide of where to go, what to do, where to eat, where to party and much, much more. For anyone new to Pattaya I highly recommend you shell out the $8 or whatever it is and get this map as it will definitely serve to enhance your vacation and make it that much more enjoyable. I used the map for everything and I found all its recommendations to be very good and very accurate. Plus, it showed me places and things that I never would have discovered otherwise. An indispensable tool for the Pattaya newbie! Five stars.
