This makes your cup of coffee or tea a great visual experience as well. It has a dual filter system, with the main press being one, and another one in the lid as well. When You make your coffee or tea, turn the lid to close the press while your coffee or tea steeps, and turn it again to open it to pour. That will retain heat and allow for better flavor for your coffee or tea. Due to the all clear glass body, this french press is also perfectly suited to be used to make GROSCHE blooming teas as well. Drop your blooming tea in the pot, add boiling water, put on the lid (wait 3-5 minutes before pressing half way), and the tastiest and most beautiful blooming tea is ready! As an avid coffee drinker that's graduated up from the percolator to true tasting coffee, I've been very happy with this Lisbon French press. I love the designing that it doesn't have my clumsy covers around the body and it's each to keep clean that way as well. I just put it in the dishwasher or rinse it out in the sink and I'm done. Ease clean up. the filter fits the glass well, and it looks really nice on the table too. I love the gripping base that it comes with too, it makes for a great non skid type product. Well thought through, and highly functional. This is a great press, and at this price, I don't think you can beat the deal anywhere. Skip the line at Wally world, save yourself some money, and get it at amazon, youll be happy.

I read tons of reviews and relied in part on them for my purchase as I had never seen a french press before and am a cautious shopper with limited funds. I absolutely love this press and where I found the only complaint from others seemed to be the thin handle that might break I am careful of it but see no weakness in the particular design. It works wonderfully and I am very happy with my purchase and introduction to french presses. Next I will purchase the 51oz model I saw available as a gift for one of my sons who I think will appreciate the glass quality and ability to make teas with it.

Great value for French press. Very sleek with glass handle. Rubber base is removable for cleaning. Press seems to be snug when plunged. Great buy!!!
