5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!, August 22, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: GE GSC3500NWW Portable Dishwasher 5 LVL (White)
I love my portable dish washer! This machine is not 'fancy' but it gets the job done with a minimum of fuss. It has all the standard washer features including a container for spot free rinse solution, open and closed soap cups, normal and pots/pans cycles, hot start, rinse only etc. The machine rolls easily on the casters and hooking it up to the kitchen sink was an easy matter of changing the faucet aerator with the one included. The hose simply snaps on, plug in to electric and you're off and washing. The top of the washer is a wood laminate that serves nicely as extra counter space. Been using this machine for a few weeks and see no cons as of yet. Be advised that there are several pieces of styrofoam inside the machine that you need to remove before use. I missed one but luckily this had no ill effect. If you miss the one under the heating coil, you could have a mess.

5.0 out of 5 stars great dishwasher, July 9, 2009
This review is from: GE GSC3500NWW Portable Dishwasher 5 LVL (White)
I bought this dishwasher direct from ABT a few months ago, and I love it. ABT delivered it, so they took it out of the box and set it up for me. It was no problem hooking up the faucet adapter. I live in an older apartment building so the faucet isn't fancy or brand name, and it went right together. It hooks up easily and cleans very well. It even has more space inside than the built-in at my old apartment.

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't include parts to make installation easy, April 1, 2009

BUYER BEWARE!!!! GE has done an extremely POOR job of ensuring ease of installation on this model. It comes with a cheezy quick connect/disconnect system that requires you to connect a coupling to your sink faucet. The connect only fits two sizes of threads. If you faucet does have the proper diameter, or type of thread (male or female), or has a recessed aerator, the GE connector ain't goin' to work. After six hours of going to Home Depot, Lowes, other hardware stores, and a specialty plumbing contractor, I still have been unable to locate an adaptor that fits. The faucet I was trying to connect to is newer, and a name brand faucet, too! In order to make this dishawasher work, I'm going to have to find a new faucet that has a thread configuration that matches the GE connector.
