You get what you pay for, September 4, 2010
This review is from: GSI High-Grade Sturdy-Steel Articulating Arm Wall TV Mount with Tilt and Swivel Functions - for LCD/LED/TV/DVD/Combo/Blu-Ray Flat-Panel Monitors/Screens/Displays, Mounting Brackets Fits 32-Inch to 55-Inch Screens (Electronics)
There was one selling point for this bracket...its price. There is a reason this bracket is half the price of other articulating mounts.
I didn't need anything fancy, just something to keep the TV on the wall while articulating. It does the job and I have complete confidence that the TV will not fall off, unless you adjust the pitch. Through a poor design, the brackets that hold the TV to the mounting plate increase or decrease in length with the pitch adjustment. If you adjust the keeper screws to keep the brackets on the mounting plate with the TV pitched all the way, when you then change the pitch to 90 degrees, the keeper screws will no longer be holding the bottom of the brackets to the plate. As long as you aren't moving things, it should be okay, because all the weight is carried from the top, but it's still a poor design. Also, there is nothing stopping the brackets from sliding off the side of the mounting plate.

Cheap Price, Cheap Mount, September 25, 2010
This review is from: GSI High-Grade Sturdy-Steel Articulating Arm Wall TV Mount with Tilt and Swivel Functions - for LCD/LED/TV/DVD/Combo/Blu-Ray Flat-Panel Monitors/Screens/Displays, Mounting Brackets Fits 32-Inch to 55-Inch Screens (Electronics)
This mount is available for a great price, but there are a few things lacking.
1) No nylon bushings on pivot points. This makes the action very rough when adjusting the mount.
2) Installation manual printed 4 pages on one sheet of paper. Way to cut corners, but I couldn't read this thing WITH a magnifying glass.
3) Only has an 18-inch mounting plate. I live in a loft. The studs are on 24" centers. So much for getting a secure mount to the wall.
4) Ships with logos cut off of box. I'm not sure why, but the inner box had all the graphics cut off with a razor. I feel like I just bought something that fell off the back of a truck.
This mount is going back to Amazon. Already shopping for another.

I've had better, September 26, 2011
This review is from: GSI High-Grade Sturdy-Steel Articulating Arm Wall TV Mount with Tilt and Swivel Functions - for LCD/LED/TV/DVD/Combo/Blu-Ray Flat-Panel Monitors/Screens/Displays, Mounting Brackets Fits 32-Inch to 55-Inch Screens (Electronics)
This is the 2nd articulating arm wall mount I've owned. Both for this same 50" plasma. Last time I paid over $200. So I was skeptical at the sub $50 price tag on this one. I was somewhat happy with the construction. But the holes on the wall plate only allow for an inch or so of lateral play. So if your studs are exactly where you want them to be, great. Otherwise, your TV will be off center. This was the case for me as my tv is way off center over our fireplace. The tilt adjustment is cumbersome. Instead of one nice smooth dial, you have to negotiate 2 sides separately. And you can't touch both sides at the same time. The weld were shoddy in a couple spots. some obvious cracking. But these cracks were in non critical areas, so I didn't return the item. Overall, I'd say this is a good deal for someone on a tight budget. But I think I might have been happier in the $80 range.
