My last attempt to have music while I rode my bike was a bike radio that only lasted about a year. Was pleasantly surprised when this MP3 player/radio actually worked, and it is very easy to attach to the handlebar of your bike. Also, I like the fact that you can take off the player to store until your next long bike ride. Quality of sound is pretty good, and this player is more compact than my last one. So far, I have no complaints about it, and I have to admit, there aren't too many options out there for a bike MP3 player/radio....get this one while you can!

Very good sound quality for such a small music player. Very nice to carry along on my bike and it's great to not have to use headphones. The only thing to remember is to use the little bungee cords that come with it to secure it to the base because, otherwise, with a sudden stop, the player portion will just slip out of the base and hurl onto the ground.

This item is a great idea but someone should be fired for its execution.

1. You can't operate the radio and the light at the same time (mp3 and light, yes; radio and light, no).
2. No "shuffle" feature for the mp3s, they play in the same order everytime and while you can skip tracks, there are no playlists
3. If you are a mac user; this isn't directly compatible with I-tunes, you'll have to convert your itunes files into mp3's which takes time
4. Again, if you are a mac user; the "radio" can only be operated by preset stations that you set on your computer, the program is an exe file which not all macs can run. The "radio" feature is completely useless otherwise.

I am going to try and return it as there is no mention of some of these issues on the website; they could have at least pointed out that you can't listen to the radio while using the light!

So far I am please with this item. It has very good sound and plays loud enough to be heard without being annoying to others. It has popped out of the holder one time while riding down the road, but turned right back on and made it through the bumps ad bruises. I decided to wrap a small rubber band around it to make sure that doesn't happen again. The light is very bright and works well when I head out just before daylight. The instructions are a bit useless and it took a little bit of time to figure out that you can't really put a playlist on it. You just load all the music you want and let it play. Other than that, I am please with the purchase.
