This heart rate monitor is awesome. It tracks heart rate, supposedly calories, has a stop watch, calculates maximum heart rate, etc. For $25 it's a bang for the buck. It has features for a far more expensive monitor. It's also comfortable to wear. I don't notice it at all when I'm wearing it. My two biggest problems with it were two things: 1. The band was a little too big. I'm petite and the band was loose, even when I made the strap as small as I could make it - it stayed up, but it would slip down a bit as I was working out. Then I got smart and tucked it under the band of my sports bra and it was fine. 2. It doesn't come with washing instructions. I detached and washed my band for the first time today. It came out of the washer okay. I put it in the drier against my better judgment. When I pulled it out, the strap had shrunk to the right size, but the clips that hold the band to the monitor snapped (melted?) off. So now I either need a replacement band or need to figure out how to attach the strap to the monitor so I can continue to use it. It is a really excellent monitor overall and I can't say anything about the strap since I knew that was likely to happen. 4 stars only because the strap couldn't be made small enough to stay up on me, and because I can't figure out how to turn off the alarm/set the alarm on the watch, and also because I don't know how to track calories on it, or set it up so it beeps at me when my heart rate gets higher than I want it to get. Basically it needs better instructions than what is given. Otherwise, it's great!

I just started using this monitor last week. Seems pretty accurate since the treadmill shows the same number as my watch. I have always used a heart rate monitor while working out and I know what my heart rate usually is during certain activities. So far, so good.

I've just started working out at home and needed something inexpensive to track how many calories I burn during the workouts. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a heart rate monitor, so this seemed to fit everything I needed. The band is a little lose on me, but I place it under my sports bra and have no problem with it reading my heart rate. The only issue I've found is that the calories burned only register two digits, not three, so if I burn over 100 calories it doesn't register the '1'. Otherwise, it works well!
