After that it became a watch/timer... the monitor stopped reading my heart rate, and at one point the watch simply reset itself to the point I had to re-enter all of my information.

I also made a duplicate order(as one went to the wrong address), had my sister send back the one that showed to the wrong address and I never received compensation for it.

CRAP!

Product proved difficult to get to the stop watch mode necessary for the calories usage during exercise at first, but would get there. After using it 2-3 weeks it will not go there at all and the heart rate monitoring function works only intermittently. I definitely would not recommend this product!

I was very reluctant to order this product because of bad reviews. I was just about ready to order a Polar for $80 when I decided to give this a try. It was about $13 and it measures the heart rate which is really what I wanted. I couldn't be happier with my decision. It works great gives you the heart rate, max, min, average, alarm for high and low rates and a stop watch. So how could you go wrong. It is durable and well made. It is truly waterproof and I have been swimming with it several times. So all of these features for the fraction of the others on the market. If you are looking for a calorie counter, look elsewhere but then again I don't believe those numbers, how can they actually tell you how many calories you burned (accurately). Save your money, go with this heart rate monitor, it's accurate and durable and does the job.

No matter how accurate I tried to set the time it was always 2 minutes behind. The idea of the product is great, maybe the batteries were bad but the chest belt wasn't accurately registering my heart rate to count calories burned. That was frustrating. I gave up and bought a different type through walmart.com

Seemed accurate. A little cumbersome. I did like being able to see the numbers without squinting or digging for reading glasses.

This HRM works for me. Tracks my heart rate as well as my Polar monitor. At a fraction of the price! I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. The number one job of a HRM is to track heart rate & this monitor does do that.

This thing (the wristwatch part) broke within one month of use :(
Not even a fixable break, but the cheap plastic broke.
What did I expect for 12 bucks ??

It took awhile to figure out the alarm part.
Went off in the middle of gym class and at night.
But I got it figured out.

The chest band is adjustable, but I'm about a 34-36 in the chest area and it is too big and I think that is the reason for inaccurate readings.
