Problem one, the level attached to the unit is way off level. Second, the design fails to prevent the TV from just sliding off the mount! I found this pretty amazing. I came up with a fairly safe way to keep it in place but am still nervous about it. I would encourage selecting a different mounting unit & would not recomend this one.

It was a snap to setup. Just buy a stud finder and it makes it much easier to do. Good quality and holds flat screens on wall for the low profile look

This item was very inexpensive and seems to be holding up fine. The main problem that I have is that the level attached to the unit was completely off. We drilled holes while looking at the level on the back plate, hung the tv, and it was not straight at all. Sure enough, putting a real level on top of the plate mounted on the wall showed that it was in fact not level at all. We had to take out all the screws and drill four more holes to correctly mount it. It made a much bigger mess on the wall and took much longer than it needed to. If you do purchase this product just be sure to use a real level when mounting.

I am using this with my 40" Sony LCD HDTV. It is easy to setup and install. I did not trust the level on the body of the mount, nor did I use the included mini level. After using my 2 foot level I was able to verify that the included levels did seem to match, but I have no way to tell if this is the exception, or the rule.

The one thing I found lacking is that the TV is very close to the wall (about 4") so connecting the HDMI cables to the back of the TV was difficult. I guess having a swing out arm would make hookup easier, but once everything was connected it all works great.

I like the look; the bracket makes it look like the TV is floating on the wall. Until you get right up close and look behind the TV you can't see anything holding it to the wall.

The only other noticeable difference is the sound. With the TV so close to the wall the sound coming from the built in speakers is softer. I guess I will have to invest in a surround sound system.

Oh no, that means I will have to connect another cable to the back of the TV. Perhaps I should remove the TV from the wall, make all the connections then place it back on the wall mount.

This product works great with my 50" Samsung Plasma tvs. You can definitely tell it is a cheaper version of the better products out there. It didn't seem to have all the hanging screws and such with it as per the description according to my installer. However, for someone on a budget with knowledge on how to improvise, this is a good mount for a good deal.

I opened the box to find no wall mounting hardware, other than that it looks like a very well made mount for the money.

GSI sent me another model. It wasn't worth the trouble returning the item and get the right one.
You get what you paid for, the item was below the average in quality.

First, I will say that I laughed when I read the review that said it wasn't what was in the picture...it's not! It's not one big panel that goes on the wall, it's two bars that you have to make sure and align perfectly (making them level and the correct width apart) and then two bars that go on the back of the TV. It was probably the hardest thing my husband and I have ever installed! LOL - we felt silly but then realized that the panel shown here and in the directions wasn't "lost" in shipping, but didn't exist, hence making our installation process a little easier once we realized it (we could not figure out how to make those two bars look like that panel..hahaha, laughable now, not then though). It has held up so far but I also agree with another reviewer that it doesn't seem to be attached to the track (the pieces on the wall) in hardly any manner and doesn't have anything keeping it from "sliding off" the tracks to the left or right if someone happened to run into it from the side - although I guess it must be secure enough since it hasn't fallen yet!

It would be nice if the box had all the stuff the directions said it would. DON"T BUY. I fell for it twice!

This is a great product, a basic mount for your HDTV. Nothing pretty or fancy, just a solid piece of hardware. One WARNING... the built-in level is NOT level! DO NOT USE the built in level, use your own. I remember reading about this on the reviews before I purchased it, but then forgot when I mounted it to my wall. It was off a bit, I was able to push up on one side and then tighten the lag bolts to the wall and then push up on the other side of the TV attached mounts so thankfully the TV is now level, but it was close; I almost had to drill new holes.

Final thoughts, get this product, it's cheap and works great!
