4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good at Low speed
Product worked pretty good at low speed of 40 and under. Too much noise picked up above that using 2 full face helmets. Wires are always a pain but so is buying a Bluetooth set since they are so expensive.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad...
Given the price these are pretty nice. But the attached ear bud makes it difficult for a motorcycle helmet. These might be good for something without tons of wind noise as there is no wind screen/foam. I actually really liked the unit and it would have been much better if I had bought separate headset/speaker sets.

It uses a pair of AAA batteries, and comes with a couple of ear buds with microphone booms.

The good:
* the box is small, we clipped it to the back of my shirt collar - at the label. Good location so that stoker could plug in/out when she got on/off, and I did not even feel it.
* we could hear each other, even along the road with heavy traffic.

The not so good:
* the ear bud mic combo is intended to be velcro'd inside an full coverage motorcyle helmet - doesn't work so well on a bike.
* the hook up (single three conductor 3.5mm plug) is different from our computer (Skype) head sets.

We have ordered a couple of different kinds of headsets to try.

You can also attach a CD/MP3/whatever to it for both people to listen to. We probably will never use that feature.

Bottom line: great price, works well, but plan on spending some more money on different headsets. Even then, it will be a sub-$40- communications solution - a great bargin in my book.

3.0 out of 5 stars can't complain TOO much considering the price., October 17, 2011
This review is from: GSI Super Quality Waterproof, Rider to Rider/Passenger 2 Way Radio, Intercom System for Motorcycle, ATV, Motorbike, Helmet to Helmet - Connect to MP3/iPod/iTouch/Nano/CD Audio Devices (Electronics)
-Not fantastic but the system IS functional.; I knew for this price it wouldn't be crystal clear at top speed so I expected as much when it was hard to hear over about 35-40 mph..
-Wires are kinda in the way, but like I said it's cheap and it DOES work and can be fun. I actually enjoy the music feature, being able to listen to the ipod. Again, not the loudest but better than nothing until I can afford a better system.

3.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for., August 15, 2011

There's a reason why the best intercom headsets cost hundreds of dollars. And there's a reason that these are about $15.

Bottom line is that they are functional, to a degree. Anything over 35mph and it wasn't really possible to communicate well. Anything over 40 and the shared radio-headset became useless... And we were both using full face helmets.

They do allow you to communicate and the hands free is nice, so they're not totally useless. They are simple communication devices and as long as you keep that in mind, you probably won't be too disappointed.

But if you're looking for quality headsets at a bargain price that you can use on open roads/highways, you need to look a little further and probably need to spend a little more cash.

I bought this because I'm cheap and wanted to save money while talking to my girl on the back of my moto. I have not even used it because theres a ton of wire and it gets tangled up so easily. There is no way I am going to untangle and coordinate putting this mess on everytime my girl and I want to go for a ride.

4.0 out of 5 stars Loud and Clear, December 9, 2011
This review is from: GSI Super Quality Waterproof, Rider to Rider/Passenger 2 Way Radio, Intercom System for Motorcycle, ATV, Motorbike, Helmet to Helmet - Connect to MP3/iPod/iTouch/Nano/CD Audio Devices (Electronics)
I have a Honda Silverwing with a full windshield. This obviously cuts down on wind noise, so at a higher rate of speed the intercom system continues to be clear sounding.
I like the system works with mp3 so i can relax an enjoy music while on a ride. Nice system, it does not feel cheap, worth the price.

As mention early, only works at low speed. For me it worked at 30 MPH or less. This is with the volume at 100%. The only reason I would think anyone would say anything good about this product, would be that they ride a bicycle or have a stake in this toy.

Yes, I said toy. As a toy, I would rate it as a three due the wires.
