Product Description

Coach yourself to develop the best practices for maintaining a seamless GTD personal management system with these templates featuring the key principles and checklists from David Allens N.Y.Times bestselling book, Getting Things Done. We have condensed this essential information onto 5 conveniently sized 5 x 8 ½ laminated cards for instant reference at your desk, on the road or at home. The simplicity of this product belies the thousands of hours of workflow coaching, training programs and intensive research that have produced the streamlined guidance available at a glance on these handsomely designed color pages. In this new and redesigned edition, a fifth template has been added to address how the six Horizons of Focus inform our priorities, as discussed in Allens GTD The Roadmap seminar. Whether you are a novice or at black belt GTD, you'll refer to these templates again and again to give you the relaxed control and the sharp clear focus for performing at your best and getting things done. Templates include: 1. The Five Phases of Mastering Workflow -Learn the key steps to workflow processing as taught by David Allen. 2. The Incompletion Trigger List -Free up 'psychic RAM' by capturing any incompletions. 3. The Workflow Diagram -Use the 'Rosetta Stone' of GTD to work smarter, not harder. 4. The Weekly Review -Master the weekly review- the practice that keeps us sane and in control. 5. The Natural Planning Model -Manage and plan your projects with streamline precision 6. The Project Planning Trigger List -Capture the key actions that make your projects flow from start to finish. 7. The Horizons of Focus - Use vertical thinking to define and clarify everything from your next action step to your life's purpose and vision. Template set includes 5 double-sided laminated cards. 5.0 out of 5 stars Super helpful system for reviewing time useage, May 24, 2009
When you value your time and its usage you will go to extents to discover how to accomplish a lot with your little. This Allen product is great at allowing one to get the big picture (your total time) then dice it up into manageable pieces. It is most helpful at giving the user a great big picture of his or her time in decent, bite-sized portions (your hours and minutes). If you have the hunger for effectiveness Allen's tool here will deliver the goods and provide you with a new approach to living that will take you onto efficiency. I am still fiddling with it but my initial findings are that it is effective and most helpful, practical and realistic.
