With the great price the vendor offered, I wanted to give the product a try. The product arrived on time. Most importantly it also comes with quality I wanted - it can be easily plugged in my kindle (no resistance at all) and tightly fits the car power outlet. With a built-in blue light, the charger can easily be unplugged during night time charging.

If you have a kindle and travel you absolutely need a car charger. This one answers that need. Item arrived in a few days with no problems. A+

I got these items and they seemed extremely flimsy and inferior in quality. When I tried to plug them into my Kindle there was so much resistance that I was afraid of damaging my Kindle by forcing it. In my opinion these are garbage. I am not willing to risk my expensive Kindle on cheap accessories.

The car charger allows the playing of books downloaded [...] to be played through the car's audio system without having to worry about Kindle battery life while on a long motor trip.

For those who auto travel for business this is great to keep your Kindle DX charged.

I'm kind of tired having to put out so much money on accessories for hand held electronics and I'm probably not alone in that feeling. After buying my Kindle, I dreaded that "accessory hunt" once more so I was VERY pleased to find this inexpensive item.

They are very pretty being white and everything works well. No complaints at all. It's nice to have a matching set of accessories that look nice when using with the Kindle.

I have a small zip canvas carrier designed for a paperback/hardcover book to fit into and carry for things like reading on a train commute, etc. I have my Kindle in that case and all these in the storage pocket. How much easier can it be than that to have everything in one place.

This was a godsend for us.
Our Kindle showed "low" on battery strength, and the power was out at our house.
We plugged the Kindle into the car charger. I thoght that maybe the engine needed
to be running for the charger to work, but it turned out that just being plugged into the cigarette lighter port
was enough.
Voila!!..The next morning the Kindle was recharged and I was able to resume reading "Unbroken"..

I needed a charger for traveling in the car and this one worked just fine. Construction looked good to me and for the money and the amount we travel this car charger was just fine. I can't imagine how the more expensive one would differ.

When traveling and using the Kindle audio feature, the Kindle uses the battery life faster and because of the size of the "Rapid Car Charger" with its coil cord you can leave the Kindle charging at all times because the cord is so compact and doesn't interfere with the driver or the passenger.

If I'm using this charger and Kindle in the car, I'm not driving. So there's at least a 50% chance that I'm in the back seat. This 2-ft cord is not even close to being long enough.
