I ordered three of these chargers for my Droid Eris. Once I received them I initially didn't think they sent the correct cords as they are the standard mini-USB plugs and not the "special" HTC ExtUSB (Extended USB) which adds audio input and output onto mini-USB. Since the cord did fit if you put it in a certain way, I decided to try it with one of the AC adapters. My phone vibrated randomly and froze before I unplugged it. I tried this multiple times, both with my Eris and with my wife's. Each time yielded the same result, and required pulling out the battery and restarting the phone. This led me to believe that the cord, since the connector wasn't exactly like my stock cord, was not the right one for the phone. After contacting the seller, I was told that it would work and that it had been tested. After replacing the AC adapter the problems ended. I have now used all three cords, DC adapters, and AC adapters and all but the one AC adapter work fine.

Overall, this product is a decent cheap option. The adapters are cheap, and some work while some don't, so I wouldn't be surprised if you get a defective one. After doing some research I found that the HTCEXT USB is backwards compatible to the standard mini-USB, meaning that the cords really are made to work with the Eris. Customer service from the seller is descent, but they need to do a better job explaining why the cord is different and should add that information to the product description so buyers really know what they are buying. This product is descent, for the price.

I was plesantly surprized that this is a standard mini usb. But it works just fine with my phone which is a Droid Eris. Now I have a charger at work and at home.

First off let me just say DO NOT PAY FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING FROM THIS SELLER!! Second, i Would NEVER EVER EVER order from this seller ever again. The product i got was completely broken, so along with not getting my product in 1 to 3 buisness days for expedited shipping i got a broken charger that wont even work! WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS SELLER, NOT EVEN IF THE PRODUCT WERE 1 SINGLE CENT!

Data cable does not work..... Useless.

I am upset I wasted $6.00 on these items.....I shoulda shelled out $20 for a working charger combo from the Verizon store. Now I have to Pay $26.00

BUT (There is always a but) I wish I had done more research on the charger plug on the Eris. If I had known mini usb fit I would not have bought these cables just because I have about 10 mini usb cables sitting around. Oh well now I have a charger in every room in my house AND my office.

For one... the charger base did't charge efficiently. It took hours for my phone to reach full charge. THEN, upon me taking my phone off the charger, it died within an hour, basically. LET ME REMIND YOU that I have only had this product for about a month now. The other night I went to charge my phone and the light did not come on on the charger base AND IT STARTED SMOKING!! Sparks flew... it was ridiculous. I am happy however that I did not spend a lot of money on this, but i guess that is what i get. DO NOT BUY!!

This was total crap. The cord was the wrong one so I can't use it. All items are very poorly made and 5.00 is too much to pay for this. I now need to pay real money for something that actually works.

Everything works fine, but they send me a mini usb cable instead of the HTC eris cable which is what I was told I would get. The mini usb works fine, and the price is great though

I am very pleased with the quality and convenience of this purchase, especially for the price.

I ordered this package fairly recently because Verizon wants to charge me $50 for the same thing, and I thought for $6 it was well worth the risk. The home charger is absolutely great, it charges my phone with no problems and it nice and small so it travels well. The car charger is also great because in addition to charging my phone, any USB device can plug into it, so I now charge both my phone and blue tooth through the same charger.
