Great Adapter
Very nice item. Not as heavy duty as I would like, but it works very well just the same.

AC charger worked DC didnt
I purchased a few of these chargers both ac and dc for my garmin nuvi 500 because I have different vehichles I use it in. Thought they would be a good deal, NONE of the DC chargers worked, only the ac charger worked. Seller offerd to replace them if I sent them back but I didn't care to waste time on it to just receive new junk, Just purchased a couple of car chargers...

I used this car charger with my nuvi 550w. It both powered and charged very well until it broke. The piece which inserts into the GPS broke apart on the third use.
