Moving from an AMD 6900 XFX (non reference design) to the Asus 770 has been a huge frame rate improvement while drastically reducing the noise from the card. In a house with no air condition at the start of summer I never heard the card once. All the way up to 80% fan speed and I still couldn't hear it.

To satisfy my curiosity I used the ASUS GPU Tweak software to manually set the fan speed to max and it was finally loud enough to hear.

For those of you with ears capable of hearing very high frequency sound - I cannot hear any capacitor whine that some GPUs suffer from.

As a bonus it looks really cool too.

P.S. Also excited about ASUS (or nvidia, not sure who is responsible for the delay) to add in the record video feature into ASUS GPU Tweak.

Edit: 3 month update, fan(s) are making a small rattle for the first few minutes after the computer is turned on then they quiet down. No software update from above line yet.

This card is pure glory. GabeN sent angels to me with this in their hands. Plays all my games at max settings @1080p60hz. Getting another one to play at 2560x1440.

The card is exceptionally quiet under 75% fan speed. Above that it is noticeable, but not with sound playing on your games. otherwise It is inaudible from 2 feet away.

Successfully OC'd to 1210 clock, 7350 effective memory (110% power target, 79C thermal limit). 31k in 3dmark vantage with an i5 3470.

GW2 - max
WOW- max
warframe - max
Assassin's Creed 4 - max
Skyrim - max (with a bunch of mods).
FFXIV - max

I upgraded from a 7950 and this card obviously has higher frame-rates in games, but it is also much smoother in the 'difficult' parts to render. When the 7950 would be bogged down, this card still runs smooth. Right now I'm playing Hitman and Tomb Raider at 2560x1440 will awesome results.

But the main reason I got this game was for Chris Roberts' new space sim game - Star Citizen. It uses an updated/modified CryEngine3 and is expected to push current hardware to its limits. It is a fully crowd funded game - so check it out and donate now for early backer rewards! roberts space industries dot com or search google for star citizen. I'll be getting a 2nd 770 when this game is released next year!

[edit] Overclocking is good. I am getting about 8GHz memory stable in games, but only 7.75GHz stable in synthetic benchmarks. I'm running 105% power draw on the card at 1250MHz boost clock (1200base) and seeing a maximum of 62C while benchmarking - this is even with a slightly conservative fan profile with the fan running at only 75%. I may try removing heatsink to reapply thermal compound to ramdacs to try to get 8GHz memory 100% stable. I got 11060 in 3dmark11 with a 2500k @ 4.8GHz and 8GB memory. About 7% slower than a 4770k with a Titan :D :D :D

What I love about it:
-Extremely quiet
-Runs my graphic intensive games at 50+ FPS in Ultra settings (BF4, Crysis 3, Hitman Absolution, etc.)
-Sturdy and amazing looking brushed aluminum backplate (sags just a little bit but it's normal for a card this size)
-4 output connections
-Overclocked out of the box so i don't have to mess with it.
-SLI ready
-Price. You don't have to spend the extra money for a GTX 780, this card does exceptionally well with today's games. You can SLI with an extra GTX 770 and spend around the same money and it will perform even better than a Titan.

It didn't come with an instruction manual though. (Not that I needed one but it's always nice to have one handy, plus I can just download it off of Asus' website.)

There seems to be a slight problem with some of these cards but it's easily fixed. My screen would go blank after about 1-2 minutes after exiting a game, especially BF4, and I would have to use my power button to restart my PC. To fix this you just have to update the video card's BIOS to version 80.04.C3.00.02 or above, which you can find on Asus' website. My card already had this version so all I did was re-update. Just make sure you don't interrupt the updating or else you will be left with a bricked card. Which you shouldn't really have to worry about unless you have had recent power surges.

The Card is great and it didn't say you get any games but you actually do. I got emailed codes for Batman Arkham, Assassin’s Creed IV:Black Flag, and Splinter Cell:Black List.

I'm really happy with my purchase. I've been able to play all of my PC games on the highest settings. My only concern is having picked the 770 over the 780 ($240 difference for 20% faster GPU). All in all, the 770's "performance per dollar" was why I picked it.

UPDATE (11/06/13): I'm still very happy with my GTX 770, and I'm glad that I purchased it over the GTX 780. I'm able to run Battlefield 4 on Ultra settings while keeping a very high frame-rate. I used the GeForce Experience software to determine my video settings for all of my games, which really takes the question out it. Also, now that the price of the GTX 770 has dropped to $339, it's totally worth every penny! I'm starting to consider purchasing a second one for SLI.

System Specs:
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
Intel i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz
Asus Sabertooth Z87 Motherboard
32GB DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
256GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD
Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB
