I have this watch and I absolutely love it. It has definitely held up to test of time! I have had this watch for 8 years, and have not changed the battery once and it still works perfectly. This watch has held up through children, travel and just life in general! The bamboo bands have held up wonderfully, and are still in tact. I would recommend keeping it away from water just due to this being real bamboo wood, which I personally think adds to the beauty and uniqueness of this watch. This says they are stainless steel, they are at the top of the bands and around and behind the face, and the clasp. You can wear it with anything. It's expensive, but it will last a very long time! I've never had a watch last 8 years. It is a small band both in length and width, so if you have small wrists like I do, this is a great sized watch. After 8 years, I still get comments on it. This is a great buy. Well worth the price.
