Tomatito is in great form on this CD as he teams up with several musicians for a nice program of fusion flamenco. As one of flamenco's top players today, Tomatito has collaborated with artists of other genres to produce an interesting mix of styles. Tomatito's guitar playing during his many recordings with the late Camaron de la Isla was phenominal and the sessions of these two players, live or in the studio, displayed the art of flamenco singing and guitar playing at its very best. The tracks here are pulsating, lively and burst with energy and passion that will appeal to fans of pop flamenco. Tomatito's lyrical and percussive playing is the disc's highlight, though it is a departure from the tradition of flamenco musical expression.
