The lenses on these glasses scratched so easily. I'm a glasses wearer and have had an anti-reflective coating with a scratch resistant coating on all of my glasses for the past 5 years (probably 6 pair). I've never scratched a lens within the typical one year warranty period of my prescription glasses. The GUNNAR i-Fi(tm) lens coatings are supposed to be scratch resistant, but the lenses still scratched even though I only used lens cloth intended for use on AR lenses. I contacted Gunnar and they said, "If you feel that the scratch impairs your vision and you would like the lens replaced, we can replace the lens for 25% of the retail price."

The frames are light and comfortable enough that you don't notice that you're wearing them, but I didn't notice much of a difference with the clarity of text on my computer nor a reduction in eyestrain. All things considered, I don't feel that these glasses are worth the premium that you have to pay especially considering the poor support that Gunnar offers for their product. These glasses cost nearly as much as my prescription glasses even though they are not custom made, so I would expect a similar warranty, however this is not the case. These glasses may help some in the way described, but be aware of what to expect from Gunnar if you do purchase them.

I bought the glasses after reading the reviews here, I'm a web developer and most of the time I'm looking at a computer screen. For past few years I didn't have any issues, but from few months my eyes started to hurt with headaches after 1-2 hrs of computer use, after that its really hard to work. I decided to get these and it worked well for me, I still get some sort of dryness in the eyes, but not like before. It makes your screen bit zoomed and yellowish. You can't use the glasses for out door or such because long distance will become blurred.

I never wanted a job that had me stuck in front of a computer all day, but in this economy you take what you can get. So, after a year of staring at a pair of computer monitors, the headaches and the dry eyes finally got to be too much. I bought these glasses and the difference is night and day. No dry eyes and no headaches. Granted, I have only been using them for two days, but the difference is so profound, it is hard not to be sold on these glasses already. I like that they are lightweight. They grip my head snuggly--but not uncomfortably. I recommend these glasses to any desk jockey stuck behind a computer screen all day. They have been a lifesaver for me!

I bought these glasses used and have been using them for about a week.

First of all they seem kind of small for me, i literally have to wear them so close to my eyes that my eyelashes touch the lens. People with big heads/wide faces BEWARE.
I hardly see the anti glare on these glasses since they reflect almost anything which can get annoying "best if used in a room with plenty of light". Now my monitor has this annoying blue light and it does make it less shinny and less annoying to my eyes but not enough.
they also have this small magnification much like reading glasses you find in stores, i am guessing this is what makes my eyes hurt.
Now using these glasses, everything looks good, give a sense of warm colors when using and when you take them off everything seems more brighter but the glasses reflect too much that they can strain eyes if there is not enough light within the room.
I have also used these glasses for playing game on my pc and ps3 and saw some changes in color but i just could wear them long enough. They started to strain my eyes and i was better off not wearing them.

After using gunnar optiks they tend to hurt my eyes and give me headaches after 30 minutes of us, but with time i seem to adjust but i still get frequent headaches. As for improvement on my eyes, minor. I still feel my eyes lightly burning. I am returning these glasses.

To much money for claims that are not true. A pair of HD Vision glass maybe a better choice at only $9.99.

I saw reviews on youtube and read various reviews on Amazon. I even read some articles on reputable sites like Ars Technica. So I did my homework before purchasing these.

Some people claim it changed their lives. For me, I see no difference.

I squint less, but other than that my eyes are just as fatigued and dry as always.

One thing that I do like about the glasses is that they are very light. You don't even feel them. Lightest pair I have owned in my life. While this is a boon to me, it also makes the glasses feel unbelievably cheap in terms of construction. I'm guessing it doesn't take much to break these. Sit on them by accident and you can say good-bye.

These may work for you or they may not. For me, it's too expensive to take the gamble. As for those that claim it works wonders, I wonder if it's just the placebo effect or a guilt effect of wanting such an expensive pair of glasses to work, then again, it might work for some, but it didn't do anything for me.

EDIT: After using these for a month, I can say that they do make a huge difference. I don't squint as much and my eyes are not as tired. I guess I just had to get used to them. They are light and help much. I give it four stars bc I think they over priced nonetheless.
