If you're familiar with the GURPS line of products, you know they usually come in 8.5 by 11-inch hardback or square-bound softback format. This booklet, is smaller, only 32 pages long, with staple binding. It's divided into the following sections:

Overall, I'd say this product is, well, "okay." It's got a map of the planet, but nothing on a smaller scale. No cities, no starport, none of the natural areas. There's a reasonably detailed history of the system and a barely adequate description of the world today. There's one (and only one) description of a native animal, and the "equipment" list is limited to a handful of souveniers that can be bought.

The "characters" section is pure fluff. It amounts to little more than a bunch of one-sentence ideas for character backgrounds and attitudes. The "adventures" section has a fairly extensive list of ideas for adventures, but nothing to help flesh them out, leaving you to do the hard work (but, hey, it's a planetary survey, not an adventure). Some of them are interesting though.
