My 18 month old son absolutely loves this little mat. It's good for about thirty minutes of activity until he completely wears himself out as he does his dancing on it.

It's a brilliant idea to market these 'Dance Dane Revolution' type dance products for kids to help them keep busy and active instead of just planted in the front room in front of the TV. Truth is though, most kids won't stay put anyhow. This just does a really good job at helping them with balance, coordination, dancing and a lot of laughter.

It plays six different songs from the show, runs on 4 AA's and is a bit loud as another reviewer pointed out. Muffling the speaker is a good idea.

Here's the layout:

Brobee: Tap Brobee and the keyboard sounds like drums
Toodee: Tap Toodee and the keyboard sounds like a trumpet
Plex: Tap Plex and the keyboard says phrases
Foofa: Tap Foofa and the keyboard is itself
Muno: Yap Muno and the keyboard now sounds like a guitar

There is an on/off switch ... but alas ... no volume control. The mat could stand to be a bit bigger, too.

My 1 year old and yes One year olds can dance she was 11 months actually when we got it as a birthday gift and she LOVES THIS TOY can be annoying when they are randomly stomping on noises but it makes her happy and we enjoy watching her dance on it :) the key pads are about 9 inches tall and maybe 5 wide so i would think most small childrens feet would fit on it We love it and think its worth every penny

We purchased this for our 18 month old daughter. She absolutely loves it. It is a bit loud. We added a piece of tape over the speakers to mute it a bit. It is very funny to watch her make the different tunes come from the mat. I wouldn't call it dancing as it is more for making music and sounds at the touch of your feet. Very fun and a great deal.

I bought this toy online for my 14 month old daughter for christmas. I couldn't find it in ANY store at that time! Shipping was fast. The toy is great, its easy to set up, just two AA batteries and you're good to go! My daughter dances all over this thing and loves it!! The only thing I don't like about it, is that there's no volume control and it is a bit loud, but other than that it's great.

I purchased this for my 20 month old daughter and she likes it a lot. The mat seems pretty durable. It was also easy for her to start using immediately. Each character or 'key' that she steps on makes noise pretty readily. On occasion you have to step on things a couple times before it picks it up but in general it's pretty quick. My complaints would be that the speaker puts out a really poor sound quality. Now, I'm not expecting Bose or anything, but this is pretty ear piercing-ly bad. Also, the on/off switch is a button right on top of the blue control and can easily be turned on by my toddler (which she did this morning at 7:30 am - and trust me! - that is not a sound you want to hear that early in the morning!!). I don't think this is one of those toys that will provide hours of fun like some people have said, it is somewhat limited in its usefulness, but it is fun for young kids...I'd just put it in another room or downstairs in a playroom/finished basement if I were you.

My 2 year-old son received this as a birthday gift and he LOVES to "dance" (more like "jump"), make the sounds sound, and play the tunes. My 3-year old niece loves it too, although she loses interest pretty quickly and doesn't move/dance as much as my son. (Difference in personalities and preferences.) I would recommend this to any Yo Gabba Gabba!! fan who is between walking and 3 and of average size/height, as the mat is not very large. My son uses this toy frequently and it is taking a real beating, but has been quite durable thus far. There is no volume adjustment, but that does not pose an issue in our noisy household.

If you have a Yo Gabba Gabba fan in the family, you have to get this! My little boy absolutely loved it! It is extremely durable. If it can survive my 3-year-old little boy, it could survive just about anything!! It is pretty large, so we would just fold it up and slide it under the bed or couch when he wasn't playing with it. I would definately recommend this product!

This is a great toy. My son loves Brobee and loves to watch him dance. It is also very durable because my son is 1 and he is constantly pulling on it and holding the arms while it's in motion, but this has not affected it at all by it. This is one on the coolest robotic toys since dancing Elmo. The price is great too.

My daughter does like to play with this toy but I have to say that it is a parent's nightmare. We love Gabba and the music but this toy is loud and has terrible sound quality. My husband and I cringe every time she wants to play with it. We have decided to hide it and get rid of it while she isn't looking beause we cannot stand to listen to it. ARGH! Don't buy it unless you are hard of hearing.

I bought this for my two year old as she loves yo gabba gabba and is always trying to sing the songs and dance around. She loves this toy! She comstantly jumps around all about on it and so far it has taken her abuse. The sounds I have found are off center a bit though. This toy can be a bit loud but I highly recommend it for any active yo gabba gabba child.
