This is the sequil to Gables Faces east. It is about Alexa and Jess Davies 3 kids. The first 3rd of the book is a wonderful adventure with Emma, Lacie and Michael Hamilton. the rest of the book is about personal struggles with everyones past. This is a wonderful book with just the right amount of love, mystery and adventure........ its too bad Anita doesn't write more books like these.

This book is the sequel to The Gable Faces East. It focuses on Jess and Alexa's twins- Emma and Tyson. They each have their own trials to overcome to live happily ever after- just as we all do. That's why I loved this book and others by Anita. It shows that true, committed, and pure love can overcome anything if two people are working towards it with all they have. It also deals with forgiveness and redemption- which is also a very important value that we all need to apply a bit more often.
I love the Byrnehouse-Davies and Hamilton family and I look forward to Anita finishing the Gables of Legacy series!

I actually picked this book up accidentally and started reading it due to pure boredom, but after the first few pages I was hooked! I've read it 3 times now and I find something new each time. Stansfield captures feelings and actions so vividly...I can't wait to read more about the Byrnehouse-Davies and Hamilton families!

I have read all of Anita Stansfield's books and this one is one of my favorites! The story is exciting and keeps you glued to each and every page. It is a wonderful book and I highly recommend it to any one who is a sucker for a good romance novel!!!

I admit, there is something incredibly entrancing about Anita Stansfield's novels. While I would not call them the greatest of literature out there, even romantic literature, some of them immediately appeal to the hopeless romantic that lies within me, especially this little off-shoot of her main family that satisfies my love for all things of other times. Stansifield's writing and characters are tragically not the most developed, but hey, it's not horrible and she certainly is a storyteller which is often the most you can ask as there are plenty of good writers who are bad storytellers.

The setting is Victorian Australia with the ancestors of Michael and their many dramas. Trust me, there are plenty of them, a soap opera gathering of trysts, betrayal, heartbreak, and hope. These are, true to the character history of Michael, not as spectacularly religious as the rest of Stansfield's stories, but she manages a nice element of spirituality about them that serves to drive the romance in a nice way.

Hopeless romantics will definitely love this.

Anita Stansfield has done it again! She has a wonderful way of bringing you into her books and feeling the emotions of each character. Alexa's twins are grown up and find love very close to home. It's an exciting adventure that keeps you glued to each and every page. Anita has once again proved to be an outstanding writer.

I have read this book so many times and it only gets better. I love Michael Hamilton! He is the best hero a girl can read about. These books have alot of angst but Michael Hamilton is a keeper! I was so glad to see these books on kindle because now I can take it anywhere, at anytime!!

You cannot put it down. It takes place in Australia and a theme that all women love. Michael is one of my all time favorite leading men!

I have read this book before and was really anticipating it's arrival. After waiting 3 weeks, the book came to me in very poor condition. Not to mention I paid roughly $18 total and the book was send with a $2.00 sticker on the cover. Nice. Plus, the book was listed as Used-Very good condition, but I would say it was in poor condition.
I emailed the seller and he offered for me to send it back and be reimbursed, but I was out of the country at the time and had no way to send it back in the allotted time. I would not purchase anything more from this seller.
