There is no active table of contents for this book. Unless you are planning to read the entire series from start to finish, purchase another edition.

I know one reviewer did not like that there was no table of contents. That did bother me at first, but since I knew I was reading the whole Anne of Green Gables series first, and then the others included, I just came back to Amazon, looked to see what book came after the one I was reading, and got over it. I read these books growing up, and they are just as good now as they were then. I don't think I would have paid more just to have a table of contents. For 99 cents, you really can't beat it, and I just love Lucy Maude Montgomery.

Anne of Green Gables was my favourite book when I was a child. My mother gave me an old and battered copy from her childhood. I was entranced by Anne from the first time I met her - and the magic is just as enchanting! Reading it on a Kindle was a far cry from the green leather bound book I remember my mum giving me - but the pleasure and joy I had from this book is as strong today as it was 40 years ago.
