I ended up with a size too small because there is no sizing info on the listing. Just FYI - size large is ladies shoe size 8-10.5. Compression is good though and so far, no digging into my calves just below the knees.

Since this is my first foray into the world of support hose I have nothing to compare to. I have been wearing the Gabriella support hose for a little over a week now and I have to say this product is almost perfect. They do what they are supposed to do, prevent my feet and ankles from swelling by day's end.

These are deeply sculpted elastic hose with small tight ankles, ample calf room, and a wide non-binding knee band. The color nude is only slightly lighter than my skin tone, allowing me to wear sandals this summer without the support hose being so obvious. The hose were not so difficult to put on as I had anticipated, even with my arthritic hands, knees and hips. And heaven knows compared to others the price is right!

I took the advice of those who suggest buying a size larger than one normally wears. Still the foot was too short and my toes felt a little crowded, giving me a clear understanding of why open toe styles are manufactured. There is nothing one can do about the tight toe fit, either. No pulling or stretching or adjusting of any kind helps as the material quickly springs back to it's original shape. That is simply the way it is knit to fit, and except for the modest toe room the fit is perfect.

If the company would just knit the foot a mere half inch longer these would be the perfect support knee high hose.

ADDENDUM: I bought two pair and have been alternating for the last month. The ankles have begun to stretch. With each wearing/washing cycle the loss of ankle elasticity is more pronounced, yet the feet stay tight. I am disappointed.

MORE: It is now November, 4 months later, and I have tried everything Jobst has to offer. None of it worked for me. This is still my favorite and my go-to support hose. The four stars stand.

I got these after suggestion from my OB to get some type of compression socks. Currently 8 months pregnant and are wearing these everyday to help reduce swelling. I really like them. Glad I got a Large! I wear 8 1/2 shoe and could not of use Medium.
