I applied Milky Spore to all of our garden areas around the house becaue the softer ground was where we were seeing the grubs. After a year and half I can say we have seen a 90% reduction in the number of grubs in our garden soil. My wife and I are very happy with the product as we try to avoid using strong chemicals where we are unsure of long term health issues.

I have checked for this product many home improvement stores. This is the best purchase price and it arrived very quickly. I would definately purchase from this seller again. I have also recommended this seller to my friends.

Our raised veggie beds were infested with big, fat grubs. After waiting for a few weeks and not wanting to spend the money I finally got sick of seeing those creepy things in the soil and ordered Milky Spore. My husband applied it to the veggie beds and a few other planted areas around the house. About one month later, I was tilling the beds, preparing to plant a mid-season crop, and I started finding them: dead grubs. Loads of them. It was horrifying. It was fantastic. They're just all ... dead. My carrots still tasted wonderful, and I'm still alive, so I'm going to go ahead and vouch for the claim that Milky Spore only affects the grubs and not people or plants. I highly recommend this for grub control!

We have 10 acres. Mole hills, paths, and mole condos everywhere. For two years, my husband has been trapping, killing, and repelling the moles from the North side. On the South side I put Milky spore on two years ago. My side is perfect - he needs more traps.

Before i used Milky Spore, the slugs were eating all of my squash plants... as soon as i used Milky Spore they were all gone! Now my Squash is doing wonderful!

Applied early this spring to one-half of my yard, being separated from the other half by a grove of trees. Despite there being more beetles last year in the half I applied to, this year there is less than the untreated section. Seeing more of a population decline versus traps, and probably cheaper in the long run. Will definitely buy more to expand the treated area next year.

The milky spore quantity was perfect for my yard (which is typical suburban neighborhood size of about 0.2 acre). I had a problem with japanese beetles and wanted a more natural approach than having to spray pesticides. I just applied using a teaspoon and took about 45 minutes. Easy and don't have to reapply for another 10 years or so - now that's low maintenance.

Back yard is loaded with small mole hills (problem for the last 3-4 years)and tried the mole repellents with castor oil. No success. Purchased the Milky Spore a few weeks ago and applied it to my back yard last week. Couldn't have been easier and didn't use the applicator tube. A teaspoon worked just fine. Watered in easily, but re-watered it the next day 'cause there was a slight whitish residue left on the lawn the next morning. It's way to early to see results but I'm looking forward to a successful inoculation and am planning to get another can to do the remaining side and front yard. Natures way should be successful.

My lawn this year had an attack of white grubs, so bad that I had some of the lawn replaced. I am trying Milky Spore to see if it will help next year.

From what I have read, Milky Spore doesn't work instantly on grubs, but rather slowly, only if the grubs digest it (and at the right temperature). I'll try it to see if it helps.

A 10 oz jar is to cover 2,500 sq ft. I used it on 500 sq ft, as the directions seem skimpy. Directions say to water lightly after applying, I think this is just to make the Milky Spore adhere to the grass and not blow away.

I drilled several holes in the lid and dispensed the powder by shacking it. This worked very well (if you try this and make too many holes, just tape over some holes).

I hope next year my lawn looks much better.

Can I bought the lawnMilky Spore Lawn Spreader Mixspreader mix a couple of years ago as my whole neighborhood was being infested by grubs, three neighbors that year totally lost thier lawns, I did not realize until I got it and read the directions to apply, the lawn spreader mix had to be reapplied 4 times so I applied and then looked into buying the powder, I bought the 10,000 sq ft application as I have a yard that is just over 1/3 acre and I applied as soon as I got it, that was over a year ago. I live in Utah so I wondered if the snow would affect the effectivness, well I have many patches of lawn I have pulled up and see many grubs have moved in, it is Oct, i thought they were supposed to go into the ground to hibernate for the winter? So I am now reapplying what I had left of the spore to hopefully save my lawn for next year, so I am saying that I am not too sure this really works in Utah, they are much more evident this year in my lawn than the previous years.
